This simple to install ipod/iphone kit from iSimple/Pac Audio is a great addition to your C6 Corvette. This unit will allow you to add an ipod or iphone to your factory radio. NAV or NON NAV units!

Product Description
  • Recipient of a 2008 CES Innovations Award, the iSimple GateWay™ is the first interface ever to bring the iPod™, HD Radio™ broadcasting, Satellite Radio and many other portable media products into the vehicle.

The iSimple GateWay™ directly connects your iPod to your radio allowing you to browse your music, by Artist, Album, Genre, and Playlist from the radio controls. This direct connection eliminates the need for noisy FM modulated solutions and also keeps the iPods internal battery charged.

The iSimple GateWay™ brings the power of HD Radio broadcasting with the help of the HD Radio Tuner (HDRT). Available separately, the HDRT gives users more channels, more content, in exciting new formats—all with no subscription fees.

The iSimple GateWay™ can also be expanded with an SCC1 Satellite Radio tuner (sold seperately) or with the iSimple BluStream Bluetooth Interface (Select Vehicles).

The iSimple GateWay™ allows connection of any two devices at once: iPod cable, AUX cable, SCC1 Satellite Tuner (sold seperately), HD Radio Tuner (sold seperately) or Bluetooth module.

Product Features
  • Kit Includes:
    • PXAMG GateWay Interface
    • ISPDC11 iPod Cable

YES
as long as there is the "band" option on your radio

worse case if your dealer did not set the programming for this feature they would have to do this.

This kit looks like a bear to install. I have searched and found the kit by Ray Kawal using the GM Pal system - looks like the ONE to have and a breeze to install. Planning to order one myself once I convince self that I want to part with $200 to listen to my iphone/ipod

Why would this be any more difficult to install than any other product? Is there a link somewhere to installation instructions?

Well, I may have jumped to an incorrect conclusion .. sorry about that. So does your kit wire into the junction at the XM module or do you have to pull the dash/radio unit etc. to make the connections? If the prior option - then yep, you have THE unit! I'm looking for one to work with Nav, XM, Onstar.... and that's easy to install.

The first time I pulled the console (to install a short shifter) it took about 90 minutes (which included removing the shifter. There are a couple of electrical connectors (especially the power outlet in the console) that area a PITA to remove. The second time, I did it in maybe 30 minutes. There are some instructions on the forum about this.
