Default C6 Z06 Advanced Design Coatings Fuel Rail Covers Custom

Set of New Advanced Design Coatings, Custom Fuel Rail Covers for a 2008 C6 Z06. Finished with Chrome and Black Domed Vinyl Decals for the Corvette, LS7 and 7.0 L. Sealed and Coated with Advanced Design Coatings, "Lifetime of Ownership", proprietary coating process. Coating color is a very bright red. Process involves a permanent sealer followed by three coats of color glaze and two coats of clear glaze over everything including the domed vinyl decals. High Impact resistant, chemical and automotive fluid resistant, scratch resistant. No maintanence, whip clean with a damp cloth or towel. These were used for display purposes for a three hour period. Cost is $550 from Advanced Design Coatings. The first member to PM me will pay only $270 shipped. Quite the deal. This is far superior to any painted system in the marketplace. Try to get a warranty for any of those painted processes. See pictures below......

Enjoy,

Rich

It looks like it was put in sand before it was painted.

For those that are only familiar with paint, ie. base coat / clear coat; I can see how that question would apply. This finish is absolutely brilliant in person and way more suitable for under hood applicaton and the harsh environment that is present. The car in which these were displayed, won best of show in its class. This was primarily because the under hood insulator and fuel rail cover; both items were coated with this amazing process. Again, most automotive enthusiats are only familiar with the shine produced by paint on cars, therefore they think that the only way to go under the hood is again, paint. You can bang your keys and wrenchs on this coating and maintain a scratch free surface that resists oil, brake fluid, etc. Perfect for any owner looking to put miles on their vehicle and simply wipe it clean to bring to a show quality appearance. It is a choice of staying with the old or moving ahead with the new.

Sorry bro

The purpose for custom fuel rails is to enhance the appearance, these go the opposite direction. If we wanted a more durable part we would just leave it alone as it comes from the factory.

Good luck

I would think the overall beauty of the car would be the main reason for winning "Best In Show", not fuel rail covers. It looks like somebody didn't prep the plastic correctly and/or sprayed them with too much viscosity, resulting in orange peel.

It's not my intentions to insult you...just my 2 cents.

What kind of material is that?

I'm going to guess Polyurea, which is what truck beds are lined with.?.
