I read your description with interest. I have a modified car, CAM, Headers, Vararam etc. The car came with a performance tune from EFI/Live. I purchased a Predator mostly for use as a scanner for trouble codes. I read the user manual and they do not recommend using it on cars with aftermarket add ons such as mine. They recommend a "custom tune" from a CMR dealer.
Did I misread the manual?

Nope you did not misinterperate the manual
I have the predator, it is good for stock and some CAI, you may get away with headers, once you go past that with cams, blowers etc then you really need to invest in a performance tune
A stock vehicle with CAI (like me) the predator is a great tool and worth investing in

I understand that older Diablo tuners could turn off rear O2 sensors.
Does this unit have that option?
