You can always poke a hole in each muffler,
or you can just get headers, not much extra noise but at least you will get extra power....then add a good air intake and you are off to the races with effective performance dollars spent....especially considering your car is stock. Between the air intake and headers it will be louder. Bullits are loud....but potentially annoying after the excitement wears off.
Then maybe a tune.
Mufflers alone do not add much power...if any.

And you made a "factual" statement. That is not an opinion.

The sound on the bullets is definitely subjective. I had them on my 2008 C6 with LT headers and no cats and I thought it sounded horrible. Horrible sound quality, just LOUD. I put Borla Stingers on and got LOTS of compliments. I thought it sounded like a true sports car with the Stingers on.

If you plan on doing headers in the future i would definitely go with a exhaust with mufflers. I have the B&B Route 66 and its very livable but has some volume. Its perfect for me now and if i ever get long tubes in the future, it will be tolerable.

If looking for more noise there is a mild to wild option that gives you stock and noise option. That may be enough to satisfy. Perhaps some of the members have tried that one. There is a website with the sound diffs. You will have to look for it.
