I made the move from a C5 to a C6 recently. I had the seals on the C5 and was very pleased with their performance. Order for the C6 coming shortly !
Props on a simple yet effective product !

Hats off to Jim and the guys at Southern Car Parts. I know I live local to them but I was amazed when I ordered Monday evening and the seals were in my mailbox Tuesday afternoon! This is the 2nd time I have purchased from Jim and the experience was great. Keep up the GREAT work.

Just got my set in for my new 08. After having them on my 05, this was one of the MUST Haves for me and one of the first things I ordered for the new car.
Thanks guys, I love em.

I installed them recently, I had to cut a small piece off where the seal comes in contact w/the screw part otherwise it wouldn't fit it, I tried to force it in with a lot of lubrication BUT i ened up popping off the ancor for the torx screw and that went into the bumper and I had to go fish it out.....but I am very happy w/them

thinking about getting these, and the padded armrest...
if they use adhesive, what if you have to remove the lights??
how do you re-use them if you have to take them off? can you still get to the tail light screw?

I have installed these seals a while ago. I am very happy with the lack of water drainage. When I install them I used soapy water to help install them. Since the rubber has had time to setup against the paint, if I have to replace a light bulb, how easy will the lamp come back out of the indented area, ? I have tried to gently pull on the lamp fixture and it did not seem to move easily. I think that I would have to break the adhesion between the rubber, and paint first. Maybe even get some soapy water between those surfaces again. Any suggestions?

Trust me, it will come right out when you are ready.

Don't accept the cheap imitations that are starting to show up in the market place. They are NOT the same thing. Do not get fooled by the "GM Grade" advertising (simply not true).
Get the original, made to last Southern Car Parts Seals. 4 years of selling history, with over 3000 sold.
Thanks,
Jim
