C6 Z06 New Best 7.75 @ 184.10
Went out to TX2K24 and ran the C6 Z06, was trying to stay out of the fastest street car class because I've got nothing for some of those guys. I really wanted to stay off the bubble and stick around a 7.80 or something like that but it ended up running a bit quicker on this pass which put me in the fastest class. Good thing a couple more 6 second cars showed up on the last day and bumped me into the 2nd class. There is only a few more psi left in it with these little 68/70s and I can leave a bit harder with more RPM and a more aggressive ramp to get that 60' down a bit more. Of course in the eliminations I turned it up a bit and it was on a rip when the charge pipe blew off somehow, it would have been a low 7.6x pass too based on the 60' and 330'... oh well.

Sure, on that pass it went 1.264 to the 60' and 5.021 @ 143.43 at the 1/8th mile. I was trying to keep the boost ramp in check so it didn't push up too far in qualifying but my wastegates have terrible priority on this kit and I'm not running CO2 yet either so it takes what I'm commanding mostly as a suggestion. LOL My last elimination pass when I turned it up a bit more it went 1.22 to the 60' but then the charge pipe blew off and it was game over at that point.

I didn’t get to see you run in person but I had the pleasure of talking to Joe some in the line on the way up. Cordes definitely brought some heat this year. Way to represent, great job. 👊

Thanks, we tried! We all qualified pretty well where we wanted to and tried to have a car in each class for street car but things just didn't line up in eliminations with stupid problems that took us out.

Missing 2k down here in htown...always made for some fun evenings rolling around town checking out the insane cars that like to head out late night
Killer pass. Bet that thing feels like a rocketship

Yeah it felt pretty good but I know there is a bit left in it, time to pull some weight out of this thing though. Right now it's heavier than stock and it's time to get a bit more serious with it.

Nice pass!! You're really squeezing out everything those 68's have to offer. Just curious are you measuring backpressure and what size hotsides? What sort of boost did it take to run the numbers you ran?

No I'm not and I don't want to know. LOL! They've got the .96 A/R T4 housings and it's making right around 25-26 psi of boost right now. I'll be re-doing the turbo kit at some point to move the turbos forward and probably switching to some Xonas with big v-bands in the process.

Congrats on your pb! What cage do you have? I am trying to run the same times but don't want anything more then a 10 point. I see a few cars competing running low 7s with only only a 10 point. Not sure how they allow that.
