Default Anyone else running a water/air chiller on a C6?

Curious to see if anyone else is running a chiller of some type regardless of brand, ie FI Interchiller, Active Interchiller, Killer Chiller, etc. If so what kind of results/combo you have. I did a FI Interchiller on a C6 this spring, and only got to drive the car like a grandma while breaking in a new clutch and transmission and then gave it back to the customer. I'll be getting the car back at some point to upgrade the air intake from 4" to 4.4" and some more work in anticipation for a retune. Before the chiller the car ran 12F above ambient driving around, WOT would get into 140F range. Now with chiller it runs about 35F below ambient cruising, and like I said I don't have much data WOT as I was breaking in the clutch, although I did roll in enough to see it stays MUCH cooler and recovers very quickly. It's amazing how happy the car feels at all times now with mid 40F intake temps on 80F days. This is an LS2 car so stuck with the older downdraft Magnuson with a single brick, I'd expect even better results from an updraft twin brick (also dual feed) setup like a heartbeat. I also have a slightly different configuration in my head as to how I would run/configure the intercooler water system now that I've done it, but whatever. Any of you running chiller systems?

They are junk. Period. Get a quality HX and expansion tank. If you really wanna drop IAT get meth injection.
No one runs them as they are not as good as you think. Yes recovery after a pull is good. But at WOT the computer shuts off the AC. Also plenty of people turning the brick to ice block then letting all that water drop into the engine. Plenty of data out there.

Pretty much nothing you claimed is true. In fact it shows you don't even know pretty basic stuff. Meth does NOT have the effect on IAT you just claimed. The computer does NOT shut off the A/C at WOT. Thanks for chiming in though.

Thats funny, you should actually read about the product you’re buying.

Also, you clearly know nothing about methanol and it’s properties. Has been used for air temperature suppression for 50+ years.

I'm not running an interchiller but I am running their spacer plates on my E-force powered Grand Sport. And they do make a significant difference. They keep a lot of engine heat from getting to the supercharger, lowering IAT's a good 20F.

To me, an interchiller system would be idea if you are drag racing more than anything. On a street car, while it would be nice, an interchiller just seems a bit of a waste.
