Thanks I appreciate it. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing at this power level. As long as it doesn’t do some crazy wheel hop from a roll and I don’t no lift shift it hopefully it’ll stay together. 🙏

A few pictures from the engine builder. I can honestly say that this will be the first time EVER in it’s life that this LSX block/engine will actually be built correctly. Sad as hell but it’s the truth. Looking forward to what this motor wants to pump out steam wise.

Awesome build! Would you have any sound clips of your exhaust? Curious on how it sounds. Appreciate any feedback.

Thanks I appreciate it. Exhaust is about to change a little bit. Switched from stock LS7 manifolds to Kooks 2” long tubes, changing the piping under the car slightly and the cam this go around is quite a bit bigger so I doubt it sounds the same. But here is the old engine combo and the way it used to sound right before TX2K21.

Awesome build! The downpipe/wastegate dump tube routing is clever; I like that you stuck with the general location of the stock tips.

Thanks. Once I decided I was going to go the rear mount route I knew I wanted to have a somewhat stock looking exhaust. I can’t stand the look of just one big down pipe hanging out the back so I grabbed some R35 GTR tips and my buddy that welded it all made it happen. The two middle tips are dummy tips, far left is the down pipe and the far right is for the wastegate dump. Both outside tips will give a light show on the shift which is pretty cool.

Well thanks to Jayyyw I’ve decided to cut this car up some more lol jk. Got talked into making the swap from 325/50/15’s to the 315/60/15 radial pro’s. Got the fender liners out today and I took my rear coilovers out and checked them and raised them up about 1/2”. Hopefully all I’ll have to do is trim some battery trays on each side and the big boy tires will clear. I’ll call this my donk setting. 😎

I ran the 30x13.50 on Forgestars and had to do the same, wheel liners out and some plastic trimming. Going to an antigravity battery helps too.

Inner liners are out and the coilovers were raised about 1/2”. I’ve been swamped with work all week so I haven’t had a chance to get the tires mounted. But just off what the eye can see this is a huge difference lol.

I went from hazing the tires at 1200 in second and 1300 in 3rd to dead hooking 1200 in second and 1500+ in 3rd. Probably the single greatest thing you can do, traction wise. Effective gearing changes a bit but just brake boost it harder or put it on some rolling anti-lag.

Nice build, I was following the build several years ago. Glad you getting it going again, good luck.

I thought Jorge worked for for JMS? I went over there a few times to help them with problem electrical issues. Shop was full of cars but not much work getting done.

Looking forward to seeing the final results of this great "different" build.

You’re definitely the man when it comes to that. No one has beat that 100-150 time as a stick car on the street yet have they?

Thanks I appreciate it. It’s definitely not your every day build that you see but I’m gonna see it through now that I’m finally getting a motor that’ll be built correctly.

As far as Jorge and JMS goes, Jorge did the smart thing and split ways from Joaquin and that circus a while back. JMS/Joaquin Alpizar is a freaking joke. That dude is nothing but a scam artist looking to take advantage of people any way that he sees fit. He constantly lies, takes parts off of other peoples cars to finish builds and it gets a lot worse from there. He never takes ownership of ANYTHING, he’ll either blame the customer or the tuner. I could start my own thread from my own personal experience with him it’s pretty bad. He “built” two LSX motors for me. One motor made it 500mi and the next almost 800mi smh. So if you wanna know why there’s not much work getting done at JMS that’s probably why lol. Joaquin spends majority of his time bringing cars to and from Mexico letting them sit in the overflow lot and running around on his wife across the border. Can’t possibly get much done when you live like that. 🤷‍♂️

315/60/15 Radial Pro’s installed. Now I just need a motor up front to get rid of that nasty gap haha.

I think this is my next move as well - only way I can compete with high power GTR's from a roll. Looks like they fit with minimal work, looking forward to the results!! I can see a few of us dipping into the low 3's high 2's (60-130) and possibly mid 2's (100-150).

What is the setup? I see the TT Huracans and R8s and well as GTRs in the 2's and its just nasty. But most Vettes are in the 5/4s it seems
