Never looked into this. Everything I was reading just said that our ECU was maxed at 2.5 bar. The guy who tunes my cars is really busy and has alot better things to do then respond to my texts about things like this so i keep it to a minimum.

Weird. When I was doing all my googling pretty much the only options were to open up the hole in your manifold and make a ls9 one work, or go to the DPE or DSX tuning custom made ones. I emailed DSX at the end of January they responded saying to go to DPE because they discontinued making the pnp map sensors.

I know there are two different electrical connectors I cant remember which group is which i think its ls2/7 share a plug and ls3/9 have another.

This is what I have, works great on my speed density tune. If I remember correctly ls3 are easier because the manifold is already set up for this style of sensor?

Yeah that is a different style for sure although maybe it still clips in? That really looks like the LS9 one the stub that goes into the manifold should have been around 50 thou larger then OEM was it a really tight fit or require some modification?

lol thats exactly what we are doing. We did the samething back when we built my single turbo 2JZ GTE miata. Eventually ill probably change it up to out the fender or something. If somehow the car runs well and I like it we will probably cut the stock hood like that and then lay fiber glass to do a little turbo bump so just the inlet is sticking out. Similar to what that one F1X 6 speed record holder corvette did.

That is Cody's car I see on IG, that is the plan for mine if I go twins. Stick them out of the hood beside the Hi-Ram. I would hide the single and do fender exit.

I bought Cody's old manifolds for my car. Cool guy, says he regrets going out the hood everytime it rains lol

Haha, that is why I probably will tuck a single in the compartment and have only my Hi-Ram sticking out. I would slap a normal filter on the turbo if he got caught in the rain. A buddy here in SC has a turbo sticking out like that and just runs a turbo guard.

Yeah, I like that mine will be under the hood and a 5" exhaust out of the bumper just less to worry about. I'm debating on the high ram out the hood too, have to have something to draw attention lol

Sick. Log manifold from scratch. Stock hood should fit with a K-member spacer or two.

I must admit...the go-pro sitting on the roof is an awesome touch considering that car wont be racing for quite a while...
(Unless it's there to film an epic time lapse install video, in which case, well played sir)

Not my gopro it is my buddy who is doing all the fabricating. I think originally he was going to time lapse everything with it but ended up using my phone tri pod. Not sure exactly what if anything he recorded.

More more charge piping is done 100%.

List of things to finish
Radiator bracket welding after the pieces I designed come back from waterjet.
One more piece of the crossover
Final weld on the manifold
Oil drain
Oil Feed
Catch can
Starter wires
Clean up harness that is laying in weird spots in some places.
Start car pray it runs.

Looks awesome. Confident that the charge pipe will clear the hood closer to the front bumper?

We will find out. Worst to worst we will oval it or adjust the height of the intercooler which is not very much work just requires a different spacer setup from ace hardware which is only a couple bucks.
