Default CAI options for LS7 Procharger kit?

Looking at the air intake it looks rather restrictive. I saw Dallas performance makes one. Does anyone else? And is it worth the swap? Car only makes 570rwhp I’d like to get a little more out of it if possible. It’s a stock Z06 with the base Procharger kit and borla 3” X pipe and stinger axle back.

A&A also makes a larger inlet tube, but you will likely need a shortened radiator to make it fit. Other option is to just put a smaller pulley on the blower.

Ya I’m not looking into a smaller pulley at this time. Would just like to optimize what’s on there and go from there. I saw the A&A one but yes it looked like it needed other mods to fit. Are those the only two options?

I think your only other option is to have one custom fabricated. Meth is another option to get more power and add some safety to your setup.

I made one from one 45 degree 3.5" coupler and one 45 degree 3.5" steel elbow.....works like a champ even with my stock height Dewitt radiator.

Procharger makes one. Expect a retune. It opens them up a lot. Mine was a HUGE gain even on the massive 4.25 pulley

Define “huge” gain? And is there a Procharger part number I don’t see it on the site? Was the retune needed because the boost increased?

40-60rwhp is common with new intake. PC has a "race intake". I would just fab your own or do the DP.

Yes, it will add 2+psi of boost, and add a lot of power, so you need a retune, and possibly more fuel pump/injectors/octane.

As unreal said, it was a 2psi bump. Hard to believe.

Not really...the cross section on the PC plastic inlet is awful.

Yikes I don’t know if this car can take 2 more psi the way it is. It’s 100% stock minus the Procharger and exhaust. Might need to let this mod wait til later...

As long as the heads have been addressed, you’ll be fine. I made 750whp on a stock LS7 for over a year with no issue. Proper octane and tune is key.

I have the DP one on my car. It picked up like 40 wheel and even more torque when I did the swap years ago.
