Been a while but repairs are going well. Reached out to Gspeed and sent the car to them in January. They have since been going through the car and determined what is usable and what needs to be corrected for durability or safety.
A rough summary of what's been going on:
- Removed all existing wiring and hoses as neither of which was up to snuff
- Reinforce frame around turbo system
- Motech ECU, PCM, touch display and related goodies
- Rebuild fuel cell in a manner that provides more consistent flow and is certified for fire safety
- Upgrade cooling system
- Replaced driveshaft and diff which apparently has been a regular coupe diff all along
Been a great experience so far, wish I found them sooner.

I can't believe you were making all of that power with that diff! Glad to see things are progressing for you.

How many different shops have you been to?
You told Dallas Performance no, Ron at Vengeance failed, your Chicago shop failed...
how much longer are you gonna put up with this? If you want someone who can work on your car, private message me and I’ll send you their phone number. You must love projects.
as dr I love walking out to my car i know when I can beat the absolute **** out of it

There were a lot of things we both had to understand. One of those was anything sub par, wrong, or dangerous was to be removed.
we all know what he wants. My only struggle at this stage is time. There’s a bunch of smoking guns as we tear the car apart. All of those have and will be corrected. Much like a dog needs to be trained, the owner of the dog has to be trained as well. We’re both learning, and our team has the customers best interest as our top priority.
we will win, and OP will be pumped. It will not, however, be easy.
also, I miss Taylor. 6 months before his passing was the best our relationship had been.
Louis

my apologies to vengeance. The original poster and I have a lot in common. Lotta respect is there. I was grumpy, had a terrible day in the OR, and unfortunately this was the first email I saw.
I want nothing but the best!
