Default Boost gauge necessary?

I plan on installing an A&A V3 Si S/C (max 6-8 psi) I prefer to leave the interior oem. Is it necessary to install a boost gauge? If so, not thrilled to put one on the pillar. Where did you guys install one?

I took my A pillar gauges off and went with the DashLogic. You will have a lot more options to display different parameters or create alarms.

Dashlogic.

Or nothing. You don't need a boost gauge. Is it helpful? Can it help diagnose issues? Yes and yes, but is it needed, nope.

I second the dash logic recommendation. Thats what I run on my car with an ECS set up. Clean, no messing with install and running major wires, and out of sight.

Remember, you need a new map sensor to read boost with the dash logic, the stock map sensor only reads up to about 2 lbs of boost if I remember. You have to get the Zr1 map sensor, and have the tune changed to use the new sensor.

Dashlogic is so flexible, lets you monitor so many things and also set alarms and they are always adding new features to it. I added an Aeroforce fuel pressure sensor so I can monitor fuel pressure.

I agree, the only way I'm going to know of any issues during wide open throttle is if it makes a noise. Thats is where the Dashlogic shines

It's all in good fun until the guy who dishes it out can't take it?
