10 rib with direct drive? Not sure anyone makes a 10 rib for the water/alt that fits a vette. Maybe if you spaced the ABS bracket out.

Do the cogged DD 10 rib if you want to keep a/c or alternator working.

9:1 is way low. I would never go that low unless it was a crazy turbo build, and even then I wouldn't go that low. Shoot for ~10:1.

I'll check those up and let you guys know still have a lot of thing to work on this month but I''m not sure if I'll go 9:1 but I find it safer for what I'm going to do 12Ib + shoot of 100.

I'll get your recommendations.

Safe is in tune not compression. No reason to run 9. I'm around 10 at 20psi. 12 psi is nothing. Just call Ron at vengeance since that is where you get parts and let him steer you. I dont get the procharger love so I would look at other power adders too.

As stated the procharger kits are junk, good head units, but terrible kits if you want to push them. We recently had a customer come in with one that we did heads, cam, flip drive (Ecs cog flip drive) and swapped the blower pulley stuff to 8 rib. Car had zero slip at that point and made 670 rwhp on an ls2, with 91 Octane, and 107 outside air temps. Blower pulley was a 3.5 btw with an over driven lower.

will I just contact a lot of shops asking for what I'm gonna do cause I don't think I'll upgrade the LS7 or the D1 anymore the short block will be ready in the next few weeks now it's time to go 1500++ F1X with ton of nitrous as I mentioned before.

I think you're missing what everyone is trying to tell you. There's nothing wrong with your head unit. It's the Procharger bracket setup that you need to junk if you want to make boost reliably. Throwing a gigantic head unit at it is only going to make things worse.

Yep, got to fix this issue. It takes a hell of a lot more to spin an F1X or any F1 series blower. If the bracket isn't working for a D1, than it is going to be nothing but a nightmare for an F series blower.

I would contact WhiteLightning and see what he runs for a bracket setup or Chad Barton@CBI. Those are the two high HP F1X cars I know of. Looks like Chad is running a HOB Cog setup, and any other F1X c6 I can find is running an ECS 10 rib/DD setup. Does PC even make a 10 rib bracket for a c6?

Just trying to help you make this thing run the way it should.

If you're serious about going with a bigger blower, then you're almost going to have to start from scratch and build the system right. Sucks to have to replace parts you've already bought, but that's the reality of it.

If it were my car, I'd probably upgrade the bracket and max out that D1 to see what it can do. If you really aren't happy with that, then there's always a bigger blower.

actually I don't have that much of time to be honest the event here will start on Nov so I should get everything ready before oct that's why I'm not gonna max out the D1 and upgrading to F1-X, I wanna go to Qatar Mile event.

I do want to point out that I am not experiencing belt slip with the PC brackets and pushing 750 and 12lbs.....but I run a 8 rib and run the ac and ps off the flip drive. I also installed the C5 ac bracket with extra idler. I will upgrade when it goes.

The 9:1 is not optimal but will offer a bigger tuning window.
