Magnuson Heartbeat or E-force S/C
Hello I'm new to this site and owner of a 12 GS vette. I'm looking to add on a supercharger and can't decide on the E-Force or magnuson heartbeat, any help in my decision making? Thanks

A&A or ECS Blower Systems are your best bet. Make more power, run cooler, more efficient....
I havent had a "PD blower bashing" day in a while...

I have no personal experience with the heartbeat. From the limited results I see online the performance seems about on par with the eforce. I don't see any advantage from one to the other, so I think it comes down to cost, and /or what you like the looks of better. They both seem to be good products.

Without getting into the PD bashing, at least look into the other options like ECS kits.

They are both 2.3L blowers if that's what you're asking. The Heartbeat has more volume in the intake manifold area.
My Heartbeat only made 633 on a Mustang dyno. I was a little disappointed until I recently found out how much belt slip I had. Boost was around 9psi until 5000 rpm and then it tailed off to 6psi at peak. It still made peak power at 6500 rpm. I made a few changes and have my boost back, but haven't had it on a dyno since. It has a mild blower cam and bolt ons.
IAT's are really quite good. I made three back to back to back dyno runs in about 2 minutes. IAT's rose about 20 degrees and recovered as soon as I was off the throttle. The third run was about 20 hp less and 5 degrees hotter than the first. I think that was more from the heat and fumes in the dyno room than any other issue. At this point, I'm pretty pleased. Just need to get it to the track

You can reach your horsepower goals, whatever they are, with most any sc kit. It's mostly about personal preference. Check them all out, find one that looks appealing to you and then get info from those that have gone that route. Take into consideration what trans you have and what you ultiomately want your car to do. There are many shops and suppliers that have great reputations and can help you. Good luck and be sure to let us know what you end up with and as always the forums like pics and time slips if you are going to run it at the drag strip.

So a eforce can make 1100rwhp? Sweet.
Not everyone has 600hp goals.

I wonder how many have 600 hp goals vs 1100 hp goals. I'm guessing 30 to 1 or more. If it wasn't, GM, Ford, Dodge, Callaway, Henessey, and many others wouldn't be in business. I missed where anyone claimed 1100 rwhp from a TVS 2300. The discussion was about two TVS2300's and somehow it turned into a p/d vs centri thread. Amazing how that happens

That simply isn't true. I was just refering to the idea that eforce/heartbeat/etc can reach anyones power goals.

Just for the record....if someone gave me a centri blower, I'd sell it for what I could get for it. I've done the turbo thing too and I'd sell that damn thing if someone was nice enough to give me one. There's a reason the OEM's use TVS blowers en mass. It isn't because they're cheaper, it's because they work and they don't break. Plain and simple. Sure, they aren't the best option if you're looking for huge numbers. This isn't what this thread is about. If that matters.

Very few people, especially first time blower buyers want that kind of power. Excuse me if I'm mistaken, because my memory is weak and I'm too lazy to search, but wasn't you who was recently saying you are dialling back your car because the huge power is too much?
