Default lets talk rear differentials

how fast have you been on a built stock case diff ( rpm stg 3-4 ) and how much hp were u making.? when did it break and what broke.?

same for the C6Z diff...

I have been 8.5 in a few cars... Never had one break. All RPM built

Redline motorsports tt z06 was running low 8s on a stock z diff without fail until they went glide n 9 inch

If I could get 1.6 60 ft I'd be really happy,I'm not sure with a 6spd and 1000hp and nitto dr that's possible .thats a incredibly smooth run.

Can the Z06 diff fit a 4L60 (2005 Z51) with an adapter kit?

howard went from 6060 to 4L80 to glide. onyl when they went glide did they change to 9 inch rear end

Can it? Yes. RPM can build a 4l60 that will fit. Needs a different shaft though.

Just looking at options. I have an 05 rear and since I am only pushing 563rwhp and 20 inch tires and never go to the track I am considering options as RPM might be over kill for me. The adapter plate alone isn't cheap.

More than an adapter plate, you need the 30 spline shaft too which is $1300-1400.
