you may have to remove the top alternator bolt to allow the alternator to move forward a bit to give you some more leeway.

Also, make sure the pulley on the s/c bracket is all the way to the bottom, u may have to remove the nut and washer to do this. for me, the washer was get stuck on one of the s/c tabs and not bottoming out.

I use an 88.5" on my ECS kit - the 91" they ship with the kit "should" have no issue fitting ???

We do also, but we ship the 91" to make it easier for others. We also do not loosen the alternator or anything else as you can see in our video.

Default Flip Drive

So has anyone put on the flip drive? I'm running the ECS kit as wellI had the same problem putting that belt on. Ended up putting on the slightly larger belt.
So my solution is going to be the flip drive. I have it sitting in a box and what is stopping me right now is the cam sensor wiring and metal shroud that is right in the path of the new belt. It's a 2006 Z51 and I am wondering what people have done to modify/relocate the wiring.
I've read where other people have installed them just not what they did to resolve this.

Knock sensor shouldn't even be close to it. You mean cam sensor? It runs right next to the bracket, no issues. Take the wires out of the shroud and run them by the DD.

That being said, I wouldn't run a flip drive without the ECS cog mod, or converting it to a 6 rib a/c. Everyone I know with one has a/c or alternator charging issues, or constant belt issues on the accessories.
