Default Z Reborn

This will follow the rebuild of my 2006 Z06 from pretty much the ground up. The project is actually well on, its way and thusfar has been a blast.

Begin:
planning to add more boost with the same head unit with LSX short block not sure what bore I'll go with but I think 434 is good enough to handle my project.

Others include
RPS Twin carbon clutch
1-7/8 Kooks w/ offroad X-pipe
LG GT2 Coilovers
LG G1 Sway bar
Mast 285 CNC Heads
VR Custom Blower cam
Procharger kit with D1 head unit
6rib

The motor planning is selling the LS7 and get an LSX short block with MAST heads and all the trimings. Motor should be done for more boost and 200 nitrous shoot, I'll get some pics of the process.

what I want is the better LSX builders and I think I'll stay with the D1 for this season with more boost I can get, before upgrading to F1X with the same shoot of nitrous and same long block.

any recommendation will be welcomed.

No reason to go 434 IMO. Stick with 427 that way you have stronger walls and room for a rebuild if something happens.

I thud that 434 is good for upgrading from D1 to F1X, that's why I thud going big will help me later not now!

Blower and other parts are going to limit the build, not the cubes. In fact, a lot of blower cars go faster on smaller cubes. Boring it out to a 434 is just going to make it weaker and if you go max bore right away you only get one use out of the block. 427ci is more than enough to max out a f1x.

don't forget I'll add a 200 shot of nitrous even with the F1X can the 427 handle all that power?! it's seams good to go with the 427 but I thud with bigger bore I'll get more HP's which will helped me to reach the goal.

One of the guys going into the 4s with a lsx block said he would use it at 4.185 or even 4.2 at his power level.

The newest lsx block has a lot of support around the cylinder. More than what people are used to.

My machine shop said to use 4.155 and if I burn it up I can still go 4.185 or so.

This is a solid roller etp headed motor on a lot of nitrous.

that's cool enough, in the other case I need small bore to get it boosted right away, bigger bore needed for nitrous or N/A cars also I'll be with hydraulic camshaft cause it's a street car so I race it and drive it the same time.

thanks.
