I figured it was time for a build thread
Finally had some time to get my build together for 2014.
Car is an 08 Z51 M6.
Currently on a stock LS3 bottom with ported LSA heads ( Tony Mamo), headers, small cam, 65 lb injectors and an A&A kit running a 3.4 upper pulley. Makes mid 700s to the tire currently.
I decided it was time to turn up the power a little while giving myself the safety factor of a forged motor to lean on the tune a bit harder then I had on the stock bottom.
LS3 block
4.070 bore Wiseco -3.2 pistons with Swaintech top coating and S718 pin upgrade
Callies Ultra H Beam Rods
Callies Dragonslayer 3.625 crank
New slightly larger cam (22x/23x)
Milled current heads ~.006 for 69cc chambers
Ti trim with 3.47/8" 8 rib combo
850cc injectors
Should have the motor together next week and will install around the first of June.

1. See exactly how far a Ti trim can go (have the Vortech bellmouth to try)
2. Be able to drive it hard at this 8xx level without having the stock rotating assy in the back of my mind
I have tuned a lot of C6s with blowers and various power levels. My favorite are the ones in the 750-850 range that can still be tuned to drive like stock, run 9's and pull down 20+ mpg without constantly breaking parts.

Anything over 800 is fine with me. I have a stock TR6060 with an LS9R clutch, DSS 3" DS and an RPM stage 3 diff. The car made good power on the stock bottom, so the goal with this build is:

Just a 377. Im not dealing with a large blower so best to keep cubes smaller.

Looks like a solid build. I'd look into a new clutch too especially if you plan on beating on it.

If you can build them like that you ought to open a shop and do it professionally. That's all I've wanted for going on two years now and still not quite there. Thousands later and ripped off to boot. Still seeking that reliable combination of parts and a builder that knows how to do it to make it happen. Good luck with the build. Can't wait to see the results.
Just not a sponsor here so I don't mention it.
I thought LMR got your car straight for you?

Pretty much exactly what I'm trying to get finished up. I upgraded my T to a Ti. Doing my own 4" inlet over the shorter Dewitts radiator. My LS3 is now a 4.070" bore with 6.200" rods and -3cc Racetec pistons. The cam is a Lunati 227/243 .619/.600 115+4 and my LSA heads are done by Livernois. It's not assembled yet, but I'm going for 10.2-10.3 compression and will run it on 91+meth. Hoping to have it back together and running by the end of the month.
