There is kits on the market that you don't need to do NEAR this amount of "fitting"...

Its his car, he can do whatever he wants even if you guys think its right or wrong. He has a corvette, its FI, and he posted in the right section. If you guys dont agree no need to bash. Theres also guys on this forum who hate when you even touch a corvette from their original form from factory. I like following builds whatever they are. When hes done if its something i dont like its just something i wont do and move on.

Honestly down pipes and up pipes seem pretty good. My issue with the pipes is the intercooler pipe that goes behind the headlight the bend is a little past 90 degrees. Everything else seems pretty good and goes together well once you get it placed in the right position.

Trimmed the down pipe to make it fit better and not hit the front crossmember.

This was a normal c6 and not a Z06 like the kit is based on.
Well, the kit sold me as a normal C6 kit and as a "bolt on" kit anyway.

What is frustrating, didn't include any instructions, so has done some unnecessary testing work.
Mods what I have needed to done are shock towers, return lines, reposition of oil pump. What really sucks are relay was broken when arrived and AC line need to change to Z06 style, Devin promised to ship me both new, never came, no response. Another I made a deal and paid the kit dec. 26. thru PayPal and he sweared the kit will be ready for shipping in three weeks because was extremely important get it in four weeks. Well it came six weeks late and cannot get car ready now in schedule to the show.
Also sent him a drawing of his request how place a meth nozzles, twin Tial flanges and IAT plug to the charge pipe and they sent me a blank pipe.
Anyway, good things are quality of the parts are real good and I really hope get now over 1 k whp..

Well, my style is overkill many things on my build, sorry about that

He is just trying to pitch is own kit. Toxic-Evo = Devin = DKT

I find it funny that when I address every accusation that was posted, there is no response from him.

I find it pathetically sad that as a company he feels that he has to bash other peoples products to make his own appear superior.

I find it interesting that he publicly bashes a supporting vendor, has zero grounds to back up any accusation, while at the same time is pushing HIS products when he has not paid his dues as a vendor to be part of this forum.......

Just an FYI for the MODS......

I assumed the AC line fomr 05-07 was all the same. we include it in the kits for the 08+ cars. yes the relay was broke, it was packaged wrong. and yes i did send him a black tube after we talked about it and he said he could do it.
communication has been a bit harder due to the distance between us. but with the few kinks... hitting 1000+ will be super easy
Well, made first a long post with the parts of our private conversations before and after placing order to the these days what is promised and included and what not but will stop now public stuff.

I do not need anything from DKT, I'll solve and purchase missing and broken parts myself.

Thank you and Sorry OT, hopefully my first start will be on next weekend finally. I'll post greetings how went on my build thread.

I like the UPP kit, I want to hear power numbers when you are done and I'd also like to know about the durability of the Kit, how does it hold up over daily driving? I like the solid realibilty of the EForce but they are down on power compaired to this kit.

If your post is missing from this thread, it's because you are a non-supporting vendor using the site to promote your products/services or you quoted someone who was.

Did a bit more work this weekend had a few more hardware issues. The p clamps for the fuel system where to big and the bolts for the sandwich plate for the oil feed lines where way to long.

Which fuel pump did you get? I'd guess you got the Bosch clamp, but the Walbro pump. And what size are the bolts? They should be 40mm.

We have been having some issues with shipping as there is a new guy in shipping. But the bigger problem lies with me, and not having proper documentation and quality control procedures to ensure what's being shipped is correct. Because of a rash of incorrectly shipped hardware over the last 2 weeks, we are in the process of revamping our entire build/ship process. It's growing pains for the company. As we grow we need more people, but the new people aren't accustom to the products and exactly what gets shipped with each variation thereof. We've been lacking the proper processes and documentation to properly train and ensure everything is 100% spot on. Because of this we are rewriting everything from how it's built to how it's shipped, and our new sales manager Jess is overseeing the processes to ensure we have better quality control across the board.

I cringe ever time I read stuff like this because I know first hand how frustrating it can be as a customer when you have to stop everything you're doing and run to the hardware store (or even worse wait on another shipment) for something as stupid and simple as a bolt. I know we are better than this, but I was not prepared for the influx of sales we've seen over the last 6 months. And for that I am sorry. But whatever you need, just let me know and we'll go out of our way to make things right and get you what you need.

I have the walbro and the fuel pump clamp was correct. The rubber insulated clamps for the lines where too big. The bolts for the sandwhich plate I received where about 3/4 of an inch too long once installed. I bought all the needed hardware and I'm over all happy with the kit, I did expect some issues before I started.

I did email you though to see if you could get me a wiring diagram or something for wiring the fuel pump and the oil pump. The video is dark and I wasn't able to see where power was pulled from. Also the negative terminals up front are they just removed or grounded somewhere else?

Also the oil pump an fitting to connect the turbo to the pump was straight and caused the hose to hang down rather low.. Shouldn't this have been a 90?

You have the wrong oil pump fitting, we saw this on one other recent shipment too, again our fault for lack of training/documentation. Call into the shop tomorrow and let Jess know you need a 10AN -> 3/8" 90* fitting with your info, and I'll let him know to express mail that out to you so you can get it right away.

The cushion clamps are supposed to be big, they're merely to hold the line up, and we don't want to squish the lines in any manner. Also alot of times (like the fuel system for example) we run more than just the line through the clamp, like the wiring for the pump. They're actually sized for a 10AN line, but we use the larger ones for everything. At the same time we'll use a series of zip ties to the factory lines to prohibit any movement in the line where there would be the possibility of dragging.

I'm traveling right now in Texas for another build, so I haven't had a chance to get that diagram drawn up for you, but I'll work on that right now before I head to bed.
