Old: 224/234 .612/.600 113+3 Lunati grind from Ed Curtis

New: unknown since I just sent my sheet to him today

I will tell you that running link bar lifters is allowing him more lobe choices than if I were staying with a stock tray style lifter.

I see gains in your future lol. Just that 4" inlet jumped my boost from 11 to 13, and I'm still on a 3.6 pulley. That cutdown radiator will let you come out almost as a straight pipe!

Sounds good so far. Adding more power on the stock pistons might be trouble though.
I run the same lifters, chain and pushrods. Working perfectly for me so far. Seems I paid much more for my lifters. I hate seeing things come down in price so much.

My mistake. The lifters I am using are the 5206 model. Different price...

Check out the crane lifters, they are badass.

So I assume that means you are no longer buying my radiator and I need to relist it for sale?

Yeah. May as well only buy a radiator once.

I think this is all good but welcome to the world of having a car down all the time and breaking stuff. It is only going to get worse from here. If you want to maintain a nice drive I would go easy on all the big mods. ls9 gaskets, ARP studs, new oil pump,

Are you upgrading to 8 rib or just 8 rib crank? If so you need the A&A 8 rib spacers/idlers/pulley/etc. May want to do that first since that may effect the inlet/etc if you are custom building that.

Step up to bigger headers? Why is the dewitts that much? My cutdown one was no where near that.

I just listed MSRP and not what I'm actually paying. Joe is giving me a good price on the radiator. It's either that or I do get your radiator and just use the newer A&A dongle.

If cost becomes a concern that is what I would do. All the little stuff may add up fast. My dongle obviously made 1040+ no issue and A&A has made plenty so the cost of that would be the first place I would skip compared to stuff like lifters/etc. Spend the extra and get he step up morels or crane lifters. The crane billets are baller and nice.

I would seriously consider doing pistons/rods now instead of other little things. You will be happier in the long run. It would blow donkey to get it running after 6 weeks to blow it up 2 weeks later and take out a head because a piston cracked/etc.

Doing pistons and rods make the most sense as well as set of real tires.

If you have a hookup on radiators share it. With both TOC and EOC cutdown I'm looking at nearly $800 shipped.

I personally don’t see the ‘bragging rights’ of making big power on the stock short block. There’s nothing special about it, just means ya got less time on the ticking clock.

With that said, I'd def forge the thing. Like unreal said it'd suck to do that and blow the thing up a few weeks (or even months) later... The car is down, you’re spending money, you’re upgrading stuff, now’s the time…

Not everyone has a **** ton of money either. I'd keep the stock block going.
