Hopefully I will not have any belt issues,, still didn't do much testing on streets,,, 3 WOT runs on street, 5 runs on drag with 1.7 60" and only first gear (Reduced engine power was happening each time),,,, more than 20 pulls on dyno and still running strong... I'm sure you issue somewhere in the alignment!

walhan_qtr,,,,
it seems I have belt issue but not similar to your case,,, I'm loosing the belt teeth!

Took the shark to drag strip yesterday for 1/8th testing,, have first shakedown pass,, all good,, no REP with the stock 90mm TB... car suspension is good,,launching at 2000RPM (cannot do more as I need to fix/bleed my brakes)

6.1 @ 190kmh, below is the video run:

Second pass,,, I lost the belt teeth and car completed the pass with NA power lol.. made 6.3sec.

We noticed the TBS backup when it shifted from 1st to 2nd,,, not sure why it happened in both passes although my foot was on pedal 100% (pedal position):

Sorry to hear that. When a belt loses teeth it can mean a few things. Did you save the belt by chance? I would like to see it. What brand belt was it?
I've been working on developing something for a while now that should change how much power and abuse this cog system can take by a factor of just under 3. I've accomplished quite a bit so far. Taylor has been kind enough to offer to help me with it if he's able. I've been gathering information for over a year and speaking with a few engineers in the industry about many different aspects of belt and cog system design and they've been very helpful. I'm finishing up customer cars and then I bring my car into the shop where it'll be early on my list of things to complete.
I'll send you a PM and share some of the information that I've collected if you're interested.

The cog belt was speed control! I have another spare which I installed today but it is the same brand.

The shift point is 6500,,, rev limit set to 6900RPM ==> still have same issue as in screen shot

Increased the rev limit to 7000 RPM ==> same issue occurs

Lowered the 1-2 shift point to 6400RPM ==> same issue!

This is only happening from 1 to 2 gear!

Also, I see from the standalone PCS log, that shift is commended at the right RPM we set, but it is slow like big *** to respond and make the shift!

I'm certainly far, far from the most knowledgeable person here, but I know on BMW's they adjust the ignition timing the instant it shifts to make the shift smoother. Basically it cuts power slightly..

Not sure if this is a similar idea or not.

Have the chance to have one 1/4 pass,,, did 9.5@154mph with 1.7 sixty..
was able to do 1.4 sixty with 2400RPM launch but the motor spun in 2nd gear and I let off the gas...

The IAT is horrible in 3rd pull lol,,,, clamping quickly from 50c to 85c (with methanol)

next time, 2 deg more timing + removing the restricted intake tube + tranbrake launching at 3000RPM....

Do you guys think, the F1X will be better option and more efficient?

Wow, 50* celcius = 122* farenheit
85* C = 185* F (according to the iinter-webs)

With meth, that does seem kind of high.

Yes it is high and timing were pulled as per the tune setup,, the F2 is heat monster,,, considering the intercooler is still efficient....

facing this issue only on 3rd gear pulls,,, which is the longest gear and the heat keep raising..
between the shifts,,, the meth is able to bring the temp little down or at least keep it stable...

Are you running straight pump + Meth with that much boost? you're a brave man
Put some C16 , Remove the filter , add some timing and let the beast go into the 8s

Good luck dude.

The PCS has no feedback into the ECM, so it can't function with torque management. I did my 4L80 with a GM controller so it has full TM capability.

Solid run. Your AFR is lean from that screen shot you posted.

Mo, make sure that the meth is really flowing. IAT at level would indicate otherwise . I know that you are in the desert but........Turn the gain waaaaaaaaaaaaay up on the alky kit that you have and test. BTW who's is it?
