I'm curious what kind of IAT's you are seeing during a pull.

That intercooler looks quite small for a setup like that.
It is definitely possible to fit something more substantial.
Just curious because it appears to be a 6" core.

I would think that on a setup like yours, pushing that much pressure and airflow, you would need something larger to lower potential IAT's.

Obviously, it works to make the kind of power you re making, but wondering if you have seen any need to upsize the intercooler.

It's all a trade off. Good luck getting any cooling to the radiator with any larger of a core, especially with the temps they see in the Middle East.

It's a 4.5" thick core and will support a lot more power than he is making.

4.5" thick - that explains things.

I was curious because total sq in of intercooler of my previous APS kit was at least 220sq in, whereas the single looks to be about 162sq in (27 x 6) so I was thinking it may be more susceptible to higher IAT's.

I've got a similar setup to the OP (427 w/ F2) with an innercooler that comes with the A&A kit ( believe its a 3.5" core). For me IATs are not a problem and I'm down in Houston. Are they great no, but with the meth they stay pretty low.

Right now I'm running single nozzle for meth (as my old setup was 913rwhp on 15 psi),,, I want to keep the IAT down with 23psi to enjoy more timing so next plan to add two nozzles as advised by Julio

I just got a second nozzle as well. Unreal is almost 1100rwhp with his dual nozzle Alky Control kit with the dial on 5.5 or 6. He uses 91 octane pump gas as a base fuel.

Great... although it is little risky with 91 pump gas even with dual m15 nozzles,,,what boost he is running?

Throw some torco in with your 93 octane and you will be golden.

18.5psi or so.

Depends, made 1048 on 13 degrees, and compression is only 9.7:1. AFR was 10:1. Been beating the hell out of it, no issues. Wasn't being pushed hard so I don't know how risky I would call it. If it was 12:1 AFR and 17-18 degrees then yah, that is a bit risky but didn't take much to make good power.

looks sick bro! I ditched my DP Cog setup and will be putting it for sale soon due to not being able to keep belts and went with a 10rib setup. maybe it was just my car and install (even though triple checked alignment) but hopefully yours will be better. car looks great and very nice build indeed! hope to see some 8sec passes real soon! good luck!!
