Default F1x Boost with a fast 102 on a lsx

Tryn to find a intake for my f1x 427lsx.thinking about just using the fast 102 instead of going sheet metal an I don't want to cut the hood so a carbed intake with elbow is out also.to make the power id like to make I'm be at 20++ lbs.so I gess what I need to now is will it hold or any ideas on something I can keep under the hood it'll be a grudge/street car.

What heads? A ported LS3 or LS7 would probably be a better choice unless you already bought the FAST. If you did already buy it, run it until it breaks I guess.

I'd ditch it for a stock intake.

I would do an LS7 manifold. I'll text Unreal to ask if his is ported. He's over 1000rwhp with his 427 YSi combo and he runs one.

From what I've read, Fast 102s are great for na motors/nitrous motors. Obviously sheet metal intakes are cool, but not everyone wants to drop 2500+ on an intake. What I always see pop up when someone mentions fast 102 and big boost = blown apart intake manifold. I would rock the stock one and just do some light porting.

I made 1000+ on a stock ls7 and Whitey Light made 1100+ on a f1x and ls7 intake. So unless you are going for 1300+ I would stick with stock.

My friend's F1X 444 made over 1200whp on 93+meth with a ported LS7 intake. Don't bother with the FAST.

Dsteck I need to get a eliminator pump controller an a map sensor from you can you pm me a price please.

We made 1309 rwhp SAE corrected through a 4L80 with a box stock LS7 intake, that gets my vote after destroying a couple of FAST's...

Rather than start a new thread on a similar topic, thought I would ask here, hope you don't MC OP

I too am wondering what intake would be best or if porting the stock intake on my D1SC stock cube LS2 would be better option? I plan on swapping heads as I've never had a lot of success porting LS2 heads so wondering what head options you would suggest as well. Thanks for the high jack.

Swap to square port heads which will need a different intake. Or you can do small bore ls7 heads and ls7 intake. Got to pick heads out first.

Thanks, was looking at swapping heads anyway. So you fee a good set of square heads and intake is better than a good set of cathredral heads and porting ls2 intake?

Yup, throw on some LS9 head gaskets on it with LS3 heads and intake with ARP head studs.

Your friend must be an idiot. Who puts a glide in a street car.
