I did this to two cars last year and they are running great. You can def hear the spal fans running at a higher rate of speed thru a dual relay harness.

Um, two (or one if you have the stock fan) relays and some wires.

Just order the painless kit and wire it in. If you want it switched off the stock ECU then do what was posted earlier in this thread, or just tie it to a new switch.

Which one would I use if I just want to have a toggle for 100% fan throttle for traffic/high energy driving? When the toggle is off I would like it to run as it would stock.

That you just need to get a fan switch, nothing special to do that. Several vendors sell that. That being said, fans will be max where ever you program them to so for traffic/high energy it wouldnt do anything. Fan switch is good for keep fans on when car is off to cool off between runs. For what you are describing there is zero advantage.

I have a Caspers electronics manual fan switch that does just that. Hi and Low or stock.

What about the original post stating that the original ground wiring for the fan motors is not sufficient and wouldn't power the motors to 100% capacity?

I don't think it's the ground thats the problem as much as how the connection for the ground burns up in the stock connector.

Yeah we wanna know how to make them faster as stated earlier. Not just control folks are stating there fans runs at a higher speed then normal. That's what we are asking for.
