Twin turbo kits

Ryne. I'm sick and tired of hearing about this kit. It really rubs me the wrong way knowing the R&D that APS put into the system, and to have this guy come along and say he "improved" it.
If you never installed an APS kit, you would never understand.
Like I said, if I had a kit better than the APS, it would be all over the Internet. It's not. Because I truly believe that there isn't a kit.
So to the OP that wants a kit. He wants a kit. Not a work in progress. Not a pipe dream.
That's my beef. Prove me wrong. I know the turbos, they'll make power. It's the rest of the story, and I refuse to sit here and listen to someone preach on about a kit that doesn't exist, because so many people will take the internet for truth, and then it makes the whole industry look bad.

Sure I did that back in the day. Then tried to just help with tech info and got slammed for helping with tech on a tech site.
And no. It is 100% full time. I don't have the backing of my dad to get me started. It was all off MY hard work. If I had a big backer. I would if had this up and running 2 years ago. But I didn't. So I slowly pieced it together. And now it's up and running strong. 6 kits sold and shipped and the order keep coming.

2005 C6 Vert, 427 LSX with Mast 6 bolt LS7 heads, mild cam
4L80E RPM conversion, APS Z06 turbo kit & fuel system
PRO EFI ECU, 18" wheels with 345 MT drag radials
9.11 @ 158.9 with a pathetic 1.8? 60 ft if i recall correctly
Car weighs over 4000 pounds with driver.
Just a testament to what the APS Z06 kit is capable of.
I would have liked to put DTK turbos on it and a FORE triple fuel pump hat to see how far into the 8s she would have gone.

DKT's kit makes more power and is available, to me that's improved enough. I'm sure DKTs system is high quality as well from talking to him and seeing pics. Im sure he's better than some companies who sell you stuff where the holes don't line up for install or pieces rust or begin leaking with time...

Burning Brakes
Is this yours? With it all tacked together in place, how do you/someone plan on welding those seams?
No way that's a down and back kit, unless it's wayyyyy back. Collector looks more like it would crash straight into the frame if pointed back.
I'm guessing the primary partially seam welded is to clear the brake booster... For an up and forward system.

I would like to see another low-mount system out there with a v-band setup, similar to TTIX or APS, just wishful thinking maybe!

I look forward to seeing and hearing more on your kit (DKT). It was nice talking to you the other day and I just wanted to say thanks for always returning my PM's and calls.
I'm personally excited that someone took the time to reproduce and upgrade the already successful APS kit for us die hard Twin Turbo Nutz. It also give's us the customer another choice in the Forced Induction World.
Brother, I wish you the best as you seem to be a very honest and straight forward person, hard work pays off. I have every intention of running one of your kits in the future. Thanks for all your help Z06-TT keep up the good work your newer kit is awesome.

DKT or anyone else, with all the kits I have seen cylinders 7 & 8 have very short runners. Has anyone monitored EGTs on these engines to see if there are high on the back two cylinders? I know some EVO guys and the new twin turbo merc guys have bad burnt valves due to high exhaust valve temps. Equal length will iliminate this and give a more even valve temps.

My buddy just ordered a Turbo Technologies Kit for a 02' Z06. The kit overall seems very well engineered but install has not started. Comes with turbonetic turbos but he did thr upgrade to the BB precisions. It was a 62-67 or 66-67 i forget.
