Nitrous or Meth to complement SC?
I recently purchased a E force SC and was wondering which of the two would complement the SC better. Nitrous 50-100 shot or a Meth kit? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Meth kit. If you plN on running 18-21 lbs of boost meth is a must. The methanol water injection lowers engine and egt temps and keeps you from having issues with detonation. Nitrous won't help or prevent that but gives a nice boost. If you haven't completely built your motor top to bottom I wouldn't run either and go over 5-7 lbs.

Reliable power out of a stock LS3 seems to be pretty easy to achieve in the 600 to 650 range, however you better have a competent shop and tuner doing the work. Unfortunately my first build had neither. It has cost me a small fortune and a ton of time to get all of the issues straightened out.
From all that I have read and all of the people I have spoken with on these forums you definitely should consider the meth and a 100 shot is absolutely doable. But every build it seems is a crap shoot. Some guys are making 800 plus on a stock block and forged internals with no issues at all and some guys are running 650-700 without meth. No issues. Some have had major issues at 600. I have seen and spoken to a few.
It seems that the vast majority of those that have had issues at this power level has been due to poor workmanship and tuning.
I say do both

I've got an Enforce 599 kit and about a 110 shot of nitrous. I had been having belt slip above 5k and it still put 559 to the rear wheels. Now that is repaired, but haven't been back to dyno or track yet. I can tell you that I researched both and was told many times that meth would be really hard on the blower due to the design. Its all about compressing molecules.

if your running 100% pure meth theres nothing wrong with spraying meth in the blower it will lower iats drastically and wont effect the coating on the rotors.
nitrous will also drastically lower the temps during spray, i have a sprayed zr1 and during spray Iats touched freezing temps.
As far as your manor of getting said nitrous or methanol into the motor you could send your blower out to nitrous outlet and have them install spray bars in your blower for a very effective set up. they make spray bars for methanol or nitrous. And if you wanted to run both you could run one with spray bars in the blower and one with a fogger in the intake.
Heres a picture of my spray bars in the runners
