Default 2007 C6 LS2 MN6 with New blower Cam

I just had a new blower cam with specs: 227 INT ; 289 EXH DUR@.050 lift .618 INT ; .623 EXH & lobe separation of 115. I just added 1 7/8" with #3" with Hi-Flo Cats from Kooks Headers and ZR1 Bi-Mode mufflers.

I was told that this cam is easy on the valve springs. I also had roller bearing trunnions for the stock rocker arms and heavy-duty push rods added.

My next plan is to go with A&A SC. This is not designed to race but have bragging rights about HP and drivability. I also take long trips to Maine and NY. I also enjoy mountain roads for spirited driving. My goal is to have 650RWHP and 600 + RWTQ.

Forum Members, do you think this is possible for this car? My last dyno w/o blower was 437 RWHP and 397 RWTQ. Will I come up short?

Thanks in advance for your help!

You will get there. You will need methanol if you aren't running E85.

You could be close to that but probably nearer to 620. My LS2 has a blower cam, headers and a D1SC and came in at 638 RWHP. Next step is meth for safety, not power.

There shouldn't be any problem getting to 650 but you might be disappointed with the torque. My car made 720 rwhp and 610 trq with a d1sc, headers and meth.

Does my cam specs look right for that kind of power?

I'm assuming 239 and not 289 ex duration. That''s plenty of cam. No reason to come up short unless you run out of blower or 'nads Was the 437 dyno number done before or after cam, headers, etc?

Depending on what blower you want si or t trim. You can reach 650 with that cam no problem. Which ever you choose (t trim) get a 3.6 pulley and your tunner should make good power with it. 650 is a very nice and controllable power for the street. I have alot of fun with 652

I just made 780rwhp and 645tq on an 05 LS2 MN6 using an ECS 1500 kit with their small blower cam (they don't give out the specs) and meth. The car cruises great and is a monster when I want it to be. I could have made 650hp with this setup even without a cam.

Assuming the A&A is similar in performance then you should be okay.

Question for OP. I notice that you said your cam is easy on the valve springs. Does that mean that you didn't have matched springs installed with that cam? Hope not.

Hp numbers would have to be after cam install.....not going to see 437rwhp on a bolton ls2 only

So you didn't upgrade springs on the cam swap?

Yes I did upgrade springs with the swap. I don't remember the brand name.

I am looking forward to the A&A supercharger to see what my final numbers will be. I need to save for the unit first or sell some things I guess.

I haven't added the A&A unit yet. Got to wait on the money for a a decent payday for that.

Should easily make 650 with a 3.6 pulley, assuming good gas or meth.
