Default N/A and E85, What fuel pump?

Im planning to build either a stock cube ls2 or a 402 and run e85, My power goals are mid 500's at the most so I need to know what pump to run. Most external kits or dual pumps will be major overkill.

I was thinking about running this pump and a boost-a-pump. What do you guys think?

Or will this pump fit in the stock c6 fuel bucket and i could just run this pump?

I have a 450 in mine too. slight modification. Here is what another member did which is the only problem with the walbro 450

"" Ended up cutting a hole in the side of the bucket for the sock, since it doesnt come with a venturi to keep the bucket full. ""

I have thousands of miles on mine without a problem. injectors, I would recommend getting at least 80# if it was me since its the same price. it doesn't hurt having a bigger injector incase you need to upgrade later.

I ran e85 with a stock pump andno BAP up to 485hp with 60# injectors N/A.

Step up to over 500hp though and you will need to get a BAP and 80# to be safe.

depends on your setup really and compression. when I was at 13.2 CR I was in the 18-19Deg area which is lower than what I expected N/A but every car and setup is different.

Yea i know what you mean, I am hoping to be around 13-14 to 1 compression with my build and i will also be spraying it with a 200-250 shot.

Or you can do what I did:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-f...el-system.html

E85 pump solely feeds the engine and wastes no output flow as a transfer pump or venturi. The stock pump sits inside same bucket but takes fuel from outside the bucket and all it does is fill the stock bucket by way of its own FPR, by the small venturi oem, and also transfers fuel from passenger side.

On top of that I added a boost a pump

that is a bad *** set up but I thill think that it would be overkill on my build due to the fact that I am going to be staying N/A, but thanks for the info.

No probs, glad you like it and called it bad a$$

The vacuum / boost referenced FPR cleans up your idle sooo much thanks to lower fuel pressures down low, you can get your Siemens 60lb shorties which are 80lb at 4 bar, to pulse at around 1.5+ at idle instead of 0.8 and less
