the R was a fantastic blower IMO... but this shows exactly how much difference there is directly between the R and X..

Hopefully it will help some people who are on the fence about the X decide.
a real test on a real street car

thanks! i was excited to see what it made on pump.. there are a few f1X cars running around but most of them seem to be running better exhaust, intake, piping and air cooling than i am, so it is truelly a testiment to my builder./tuner and the ability of this bad *** blower.

Very cool. I did a pump gas/meth F1X C6Z that laid down over 1000whp on 18psi (441ci engine). This is the yellow one that set the pump gas record at the Texas Mile (at least, that's word on the street). It's amazing how the airflow just keeps going. That blower LOVES to be spun.

I cannot WAIT to tune Chad Barton's F1X setup (Quickzoh6). What are you doing for pressure relief? Just a Big Red?

Congrats.....a couple hundred extra horsepower never hurt anyone. By the look of the dyno I bet you can feel the power increase on the big end.

2 Tial Q's in the Charge pipe.

my tuner feels there is more left in it but IDC was @ 88% (1000cc injectors). Once i do a clutch ill step up the injectors and see what it will make

what FMIC setup are you guys using on your f1X cars?

thanks!.. honestly i was happy with the power out put the R had, but i wanted it to pull all the way to 7k with out having to run c16 and ! filter.

im pretty sure with more injector and no filter we could get more out of it on pump.. but at that point its pushing it just to push it. if im not mistaken the car has 11* peak timing in it as well so there is definetly room to go up once i throw some C in it.

I think the yellow one was only hitting about 75% on ID1000s, but it's been a while.

The yellow one has the same IC from a F1A kit. The one Chad is doing is air to water... Monster core rated to 1800hp. He's got a thread in here showing it. It's pretty slick. He's got two TiAL Q 50mm as well, so it isn't obnoxious.

i think all the ATI cores are the same lol.. im on the same one that came with my d1sc kit.
i think we are going to go to FIC or bosch ~130-137s ( i forget the exact rating) when ever i do my clutch.

Congrats! That F1X is no joke. Maybe I missed it, but are you running a Cog set-up with it or is a 8 or 10 rib doing the job so far. Any belt slip at all?

no vids.. once i get it back ill make some idle vids and compare it to the f1R @ idle.. we stopped @ 6700 because of the IDC.. once i get some bigger injectors we will pull it to 7.. but it looks like with the minescule timing it has in it that it has leveled out... i bet with ! filter and bigger injectors it picks up some power. and then throw in c16.. and ready to boogie!
