LMR Blue Vette at TX2k13
I saw a vid of it vs a UGR TT Gallardo and the two vids I saw made the UGR TT Gallardo look like it made 300whp more. Was this the same LMR Vette that won the Texas Invitational? Were some changes made that hurt the cars performance or did UGR's R Package finally have the answer. Of course I cant post the video here, but I can tell you there was a HUGE difference in power.

Yes I agree.. Some of the races I saw made us Vette owners look like dyno queens. I dont know if some wanted to look pretty and/or could not drive their cars, but cars making less power were doing work.

I had been looking forward to seeing the lmr vette whoopin on the lambos but that was a dominating race by UGR. Is the powerglide that big of a disadvantage on the highway?

Ok Larry from Sound Performance reported he was told the LMR Vette was having fuel issues and the boost was limited to 15psi and they were suppose to have a rematch.

From what I've read/heared of course I'm not there so I'm not sure.
LMR is not using the nitrous and having fuel issues I'm surprised they wrote 1700hp and 1500hp to the Lambo I remember the Manual Gallardos making much more power than E-Gear
BTW LMR already won the last TI event so now its a 1-1 I guess we'll see at the next TI event or maybe there is a rematch today.

Straight from The driver of the LMR Vette. They couldn't hook as much on the street with no burnout, which meant taking 600rwhp out of it in low gear (up to 120mph), and they couldn't spray up top due to running out of fuel.
Those Lambos can simply put more down.

Hmm I think they represented very well! I saw lots of vettes beating other car platforms that in the past have dominated. No rear wheel drive car is going to hang with those AWD cars on this roll racing even with equal power. They just put it down a lot faster etc...

3.42 gears 275-60-15 tires.
I agree.. I guess its 1-1 since LMR won the last TI the final will be at the next TI which I'm looking forward for it since you guys make it totally more organized and controlled for 60-200mph runs

They have this event every year. I personally dont have the funds to start over and build a 1300rwhp plus Vette. We do have some here, but I only hear about dyno's and not actual racing either via track times or in Mexico. Peeps just talk about how blistering fast the car is when they are rolling in the car alone. It would be nice to see some of you guys who have attained crazy RWHP #'s represent. It seems that the majority of Vette owners that do participate in the Texas Meet or the Texas Invitational are well below 1000rwhp.

The highest rwhp m6 vette I have seen stay in 1 piece racing for a full weekend is Gus's Lethal Z. Will be interesting to see how it does at TI.

Yes I saw the videos.. Its just hard to compete against other cars when the majority of them are making 1100rwhp plus.... I would need to swap spindles so I could run 15s. I still dont see how peeps get traction above 800rwhp on 18s. I have very little traction off the wastegate spring.
There were a handful of vettes hovering hovering around that 1000rwhp mark making pulls this weekend. I can think of of 5 in the 900-1050 range that all went out together. Unfortunately 2 went home that night on trailers... Wasn't me

I took off on gates and brought in 23psi 4 seconds after. that is 17psi since TTI didn't design this kit correctly. Brand new 295/50/16's were hooking like glue.
