Default ***RSD All Aluminum Radiator***

Anyone who wants their LS engine to run cooler should put one of these in their car and replace the thermostat reprogram the fans to reep the benefits of a cooler engine.

We also build a 3" cut down radiator for the Vortech and Procharger supercharger guys. With the 3" cut down unit you can use a 4" air filter pipe to increase boost in your supercharger instead of the restrictive plastice dongle.

All of our radiators are available with either oil coolers or Transmission coolers.
Buy them here;

With a cut down radiator can you run a 4" pipe straight forward from the blower inlet? My DP big mouth still needs a 45 degree adapter to fit. Would running a straight coupler there be worth any boost? Wouldn't the inlet pipe just hit the AC condenser?

What kind of temp drops could someone expect? I run an A&A setup and would be looking for one with both engine and trans cooler.

If you run a 160 thermostat and reprogram your fans you could run quite a bit cooler in all weather. The biggest advantage is how quick they recover after a hard performance run. The small 1" thick stock core radiator has a hard time recovering after the get hot because the don't have the same capacity to cool.
I don't have a specific number, because so many things can change the real operating temp. My C5 with a TVS blown LS7 runs About 172* on the freeway.
Our web page has drop down menus that let you select the different options.

Let me know if you need more help,

Steve

Steve,

What do they offer for a C4 as far as an all aluminum radiator?

No because you increase the capacity by so much, the weight is actually more.

FYI, everyone. I had a Ron Davis radiator, with EOC in my ProCharged C6. The supply and return fittings for the oil lines were secured to the radiator with the sheet metal "nuts" just like the ones shown in these pictures. These fittings leaked coolant from day one. I recently swapped in a DeWitts where these fittings are welded into the radiator.
No leaks.

We have never had one of these leaks, they seal with an O Ring. Of course this is not a Ron Davis Radiator either.....

I can vouch for the performance of this radiator and the immediate effects of installing one in my Katech street attack powered 08' Z06.
With the stock radiator the oil was taking forever to reach minimum operating temps (140)15 minutes of driving to reach temp... while the water was running too high Normal driving saw the temps at or above 215. In traffic the car could easily go to 230. When driving the car hard it would run at 230+. I contacted Steve at RSD through Abel Chevrolet and I went for the best radiator in the business IMHO. I got the one with the internal oil cooler and now the oil is up to temp in just a few minutes of driving. The water in the car now runs a constant 172 degrees normal driving and right at 200 degrees when pushing it hard. wasn't paying attention one day this past summer but got caught in traffic listening to the radio with the A/C on when I realized it was 105 degrees outside and I freaked out. I hit the button as fast as I could to check the temp and to my surprise it was sitting at 203 degrees. There I sat in traffic for nearly 15 minutes while they removed a wreck and it never got above 207... Talk about a very cool performance mod for your car Call Steve and let him get your car as cool on the inside as it is on the outside..
