Default Snow Performance recall

Personally, I wouldn't use anything other than Alky Control for a meth system but I know some use Snow.
In certain situations this could be costly so I thought I'd mention it for users.

Recall Notice – 2/20/13 SP
Snow Performance, Inc. has determined that the check valves in certain Boost Cooler® systems sold for aftermarket installation could contain a performance defect. Snow performance is conducting a voluntary recall program to replace those parts.

ITEMS COVERED BY THIS RECALL
Anti reversion check valve (part # 40005). Mounted after the reservoir- before the pump. See diagram below.
Included in all MPG-MAX™ ( part # 45005, 46005, 46015, 47005, 49005, 50005, 50015), TOW-MAX™(part # 47103, 48103, 49103, 50103, 50113), 7-gal upgrade (part # 40016), and 2.5 Gal upgrade ( part #40014)
Shipped from Snow Performance from 2/1/2012 thru 10/14/2012.

WHY WE ARE TAKING THIS ACTION
Snow performance has discovered that the reverse flow check valves on some systems could fail causing loss of pump prime or fluid in intake tract in installations where reservoir is mounted higher than the nozzle(s). Therefore, Snow performance is offering a replacement part at no charge.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO
If you have one of the systems/parts listed above that was purchased from Snow Performance in the above time period, you should contact Snow Performance at (866) 365-2762 to obtain a replacement part free of charge.

If you have any questions about this recall, please contact Snow Performance at (866) 365-2762

Snow Performance wants to make sure it’s products are of the highest quality and perform as expected. We regret any inconvenience that this recall may cause you. We want to ensure that the customer’s experience is positive and that expectations are met.

With no regulation and really no way to prove much, they didn't have to do anything. Hats off to them for putting the word out and replacing them.

I agree. My post was in no way to knock Snow, but just to alert users. They definitely stepped up and did the right thing.
