--LGM built supercharged Z for Watkins Glen--
Hey guys,
Finished this black beauty earlier and never had a chance to show it off properly.
2008 3LZ Z06 arrived here at LG from New York with a Vortec kit already installed on it, but he was needing more grip, safety, sound, and power for his runs around Watkins Glen raceway.
Suspension was upgraded with our very popular G2 coil overs matched with the G1 sway bar kit all put to the ground with Hoosier tires.
To liven up the blower we installed our full LG Super Pro's with GT4 mufflers.
For Safety Louis welded up a 4 point bar around Sparco seats, and Simpson harnesses.
StopTech brakes with Cobalt Friction pads slow the beast!
Modifications
Thanks again Jeff! Great having you at the track with us as well this summer!

Melting Slicks
Good work!
Anthony,
What is the ballpark price for a weld in 4 point and how much time does it require?

It is a very conservative tune in the car, and we are not running much over 5psi of boost with the car. A bit of work was needed also with the radiator/intercooler setup in getting the air through the car and keeping it cool on track. As long as you don't go crazy, yes they can work.

Not sure as i have only seen very limited pics. its a nice idea though. You could then run a much thinner HE in front of the rad which should restrict the ir less than an intercooler. Sure you guys could come up with something that wouldn't need a new hood.
Also have you ever looked into V mounting the rrad / intercooler?
