I like both tires, obviously the MTs are more "street duty" than the Nittos imo. Nitto are great but seam to wear just the same. Nittos are more for "streetability", long road trips, C&C, track days etc. Can't go fast on corners with the 18s, sucks...............Go with MTs
First you say MT's are for street duty, and then that nittos are more streetable.
Then you say that you can't go fast in corners with the 18s, which sucks, so go with the MTs.....which are the 18s.

What z06er is saying the mts hook much better on the street, but its a 100% dry weather tire. The nitto is better in the rain. I have drive my mts in pouring rain and it was very sketchy.. But its a night and day traction difference over the nittos if you make over 600rwhp.

MTs "hook" better than the Nittos for sure. When I had mine we did alot of trips/ sraight pulls, just sucked. You could feel the *** end sway a little with the 18s on corners. The 19 nittos did better but hooked less in the straights imo. The more I type I was convincing myself that the 18 MTs would be best no matter what....lol

I have the Nitto's on my TT Z06 on pump I make 1,055hp and 1,066ft lbs. They are useless! Here is a video of them,

I was told by a guy making similar power to try the Hoosier R6 tires, he had pretty good luck with them. I have used the M.T's in the past and they seem to do much better then the Nitto's.

I think you'll like the Mickeys bro! At 480rwhp I could hook 1st with the M/Ts on the street with no burnout. At 708, never tried the M/T but the nittos would do ok in second (and by ok, I mean better than the Potenzas...)

I had NT05s on my full bolt on camaro 12.4@113 and the only time I tried a street launch using them, it was no better than stock tires. I'm convinced that without a burn-out to warm the tires, drag radials aren't much better if any than stocks. I bought MT 17s for my Vette, but not so much for traction at the track but to save my $400+ each Goodyear EMTs.

Thanks for your input. I am going with the MT ET Street radials 345/35-18 size. I just ordered a set of Forgestar F14 piano black rims 18x9.5 and 18x12. They should work out great. Just have to wait for next spring now!

What size front tires did you go with? Stock? I'm going to order the same thing now that my CCWs sold. 18/18" forgestars with 345 ET on the rear. I rather just swap my factory size tires to the front.

I've had both... The MT ET Streets 2 are by far way better... 345/35/18 MTs are awesome... Skip M&H unless you want the most traction because they wear quicker than the rest...

I put MT Street comps on the front 275/40/18 and MT 345/35/18 on my F14 Forgestars... I had 18x10 in the front to keep the deep concave...

Here's some pics of the rims and tires mounted... 18x10 & 18x12 with MT street comps 275/40/18 & 345/35/18 MT ET streets... They hook awesome but I just sold these rims for these...
Weld RTS 18x6 & 17x11 with M&H drag radials... Waiting for the rims to arrive...

Since their is no track here I sold my drag pack, and looking for street setup. The forgestars look perfect. Just need to decide on color. Was going to do silver on my silver z06. Black seems to be everywhere now. Do you know the exact offset/etc of the forgestars you had?

Did you ever take a pic with the new ones on? Also how did you get them all black like that? I don't see them offered?
