It never hurts to upgrade the springs.

I can get you a set of Brian Tooley Racing Springs and new pushrods for $389 shipped to your door.

I just had a D1sc put on my 08Z. They upgraded springs, and valves (added a blower cam as well). Done in Dallas at Dallas Performance. Power put down is insane. Make sure you upgrade your valves and springs bro...With even 4-6pounds of boost, you'll be making crazy power. It'll be a entirely different animal!

just curious...will you be having your heads done while you are at it?

I just bought a car with procharger 4.5#, blower cam, comp cams dual springs...runs unbelievable, but the previous owner did not do the head rebuild with new valves/guides...so I will be pulling those soon.

preventative maintenance as far as I am concerned.

With more and more LS7s being modded latley, we have been seeing a number of exhaust valve failure due to guide wear. I personally know 2 guys this has occured to with medium power (~600 rwhp) and the repair equates to a new motor.
