Default 1000+ whp pump gas C6 Z06

Well, it has been a long time coming, and tonight we finally had time to strap the bitch down. For those not familiar with this car, mods (abbreviated) as follows:

Fully forged 427ci LSX
TTix twin Precision 6265 turbo kit
House of Boost Eliminator fuel system
Injector Dynamics ID1000 injectors
Alky Control twin M15 MAF-based meth system
RPS BC3 triple carbon clutch
Pfadt carbon fiber driveshaft
Built TR6060 trans
300m differential output shafts
Lots of other misc. stuff
DSX tune (although that's obvious)

We wanted to hit 1000, so we just kept upping the boost until it made it. First pull was 10.5-11 psi, second was 16, third was 17, and last was 19. All runs we're made on pump 93 octane gas from Costco with meth injection. That wiggle in the start of the 1000whp pull is from the straps loosening up during spool.

Thanks to Big Steve for running the dyno, young buck for videoing, and most of all... Chad Barton for putting together a bad *** 100% street car.

Nice.

How does one "measure" the meth use. I have the dual m15 nozzles and have the controller set to 4.

It would have made about 1050 but the dyno stops at 1000. It needs a software update.

I'll hit it with Shell URT and more boost this winter to try for 1200+.

Default Way to go Dave

Nothing validates your tuning skills like making 4 digits on your own car .

I bet it is kind of fun to drive . Is it your DD?

Ha, I was definitely sweating a little bit during the pulls, but knew it would be hard to blow it up.

It's pretty hilarious to drive. I do not DD it though. I DD a AWD TBSS. I could drive my Z every day... just choose not to because it'd be amazingly irresponsible to put a baby seat it in for my almost 2-year-old son!

He's gotta learn about acceleration sometime. Better to start him young.
You don't want him asking for a prius on his 16th brithday

That's awesome, congrats! My TTiX 347 also did 1000/960 thru A4. Mine has smaller Turbonetics that were maxed out at 25psi.
