Default So how do you measure the size of a Turbo?

I have a used Garrett T3/T4 turbo and I would like to know what is the size of the turbo. I know they come in 50mm, 57mm, 67mm and 76 mm. I took a measurement with a caliper right at the inlet of the turbo and it showed exactly 67mm. I took the measurement from the outside of the inlet as the below photo shows (Photo isn't for the actual turbo, I'm just using it off the Internet for demo purposes) and not on the turbine itself.

Is this the correct place to take the measurement of a turbo?

The measurement is the ID of the inlet, not the OD. Take the compressor cover off and run whatever part numbers you find through Google. Do the same for the exhaust housing.

Thank you very much Bill. That thread is full of meat

I will be taking the covers out shortly and verifying the turbo.
