Default Ecs round 3 !!!!!!!

The time has finally come for ECS ROUND 3 !!!!!!!

I have a 08 c6 ls3 coupe with z51 and 6 speed manual trans. I have the following mods installed and tuned by ECS - Magnusson TVS2300 supercharger, 3.1 inch front pulley, Callaway Honker cold air intake, American Racing Headers 1 and 7/8 inch with high flow cats, ECS stage 1 fuel system.
The car put down 578 rwhp and 527 rwtq last season on 8.7 lbs of boost.

I am loving my ECS TVS2300 supercharged ride, however the time has come for more power!!!!! YEE-HA!!

I will be dropping off my car at ECS this coming Monday for the following goodies to be installed:

ECS small blower cam and all supporting mods (timing chain, etc.)

ECS Alky control single nozzle meth kit, Can't wait to inject that meth!!

ID-850 fuel injectors

Catch can

Swapping the pulleys around to be overdriven with a larger 3.8 inch front pulley. Should be around 9 to 10lbs of boost.

Aeroforce interceptor gauge with air/fuel ratio sensor

Oh…. and an oil change

Other goodies to be installed by ECS:
Kenwood DNX9 series head unit (nav/ ipod/ bluetooth)
Double D Mods removable sub box and kenwood amp install
DSV carbon fiber / alcantara steering wheel
TSW gunmetal nurburgring wheels

I am shooting for around 670 rwhp and similar torque SAFELY. I will update this thread with pics from ECS during the install and a review of all the final work.

ECS has always been a pleasure to deal with. This is the third time they will do work on my car and I have been very happy with them so far, especially their customer service. Do not hesitate to use them!

A shout-out to forum member old motorhead for all his advice along the way This forum rocks!
Also, thanks to Matt@ECS for all his honest advice and excellent customer service!

Please feel free to comment with any other suggestions or advice on the mods.

I will post before and after dynos when the work is done! Stay tuned my friends

Default ECS Round 3

ECS will make your ride a force to be reckoned with. I have similar mods to my C6. I currently have the Paxton 2200 for my power adder, along with the small blower cam, meth, headers etc. You might want to install a Raptor shift light. It is a good thing to have. While at ECS take a look at my Jet Stream Blue C6. It is in the shop for some minor work not related to the Supercharger install. ECS does great work and is the shop of my choice. They have made me a believer with 784.7 RWHP and 684.1 Foot pounds of torque.

Hey buddy! I believe you went back for more before I did

You can't get enough of the boost... especially when you have one of the best shops in the nation in your backyard!

Let me see if I can dig up some pics I never posted from rounds 1 and 2...

That is some serious power you are making! I can setup my new aeroforce gauge to come on as a shift light at any rpm

Did the ECS guys mention how much the meth was going to be worth power wise? I know it's a pretty healthy number with a centri or turbo. Don't think I've ever seen a before and after dyno with a Maggie TVS.

The ECS guys didn't mention specifically how much power it would add. Matt from ECS thinks I should be able to be around 670 rwhp with the small blower cam, meth and slightly increasing my boost to about 9-10psi range.

Oh by the way old motorhead, my install tech loved your idea on swapping the rear pulleys around to make more boost and using the larger front pulley! Thanks again for your input

Maybe someone from ECS could chime in about how much more power to expect with injecting meth and a tvs blower?
