Twin Disk aftermarket clutches for Corvettes are almost universally noisy. It sounds like you are hearing your floater plate rattle when there is no pressure on it. This is a common complaint: search the forum for "clutch+rattle" and see for yourself

Get a tape or recorder. Like i told you before when you push clutch in it goes away if that's the case. That's normal. Forgot is this your first aftermarket clutch??????

Yes it's my first aftermarket clutch in this car. I had a 6puck ACT clutch in a maxima when I was younger. It was a on and off clutch and drove like crap but never made a sound in neutral. But from what everyone says the sound is normal. A buddy of mine has the rst clutch with stock mounts in a c5 and not a sound. Maybe it's the Hinson mounts

I'd have to agree with all the responses so far. You are probably hearing the clutch rattling at idle, and those stiffer mounts probably aren't helping.
I've really never been a fan of aftermarket clutches for street cars. I can say my Katech LS9X is as quiet as my original LS7 clutch. Besides the aluminum flywheel, it's an OEM clutch setup. Driveability, pedal effort and noise are like stock. It's a great option unless you are serious about drag racing.
