The water vs methanol vs blend vs etc.... have been beaten to death, 100% methanol has always come out on top... There may be instances where certain racing "classes" allow water, but not methanol as they see fit, they may consider water to be inert and the methanol as another fuel... But water is inferior on "our" setups...

I agree to use pure meth on boosted applications.. I only mentioned water injection on pro mods, because it's the nitrous pro mods doing it.. Their problem is just like everyones.. They're running 4-5 stages of nitrous and around 1500 hp worth of nitrous.. With all 5 guns on the timing is in the area of 5*'s.. There's not a fuel out there they can run to be able to put more timing in them, so they're going direct water injection to try and cool the pistons to a. help not hurt pistons as often and b. try and get more timing in for more power..
