Default Thanks Dallas Performance 2010 GS

After owning my 2010 GS for about 9 months I decided it just was not the car I wanted. I called up Taylor at Dallas Performance and we came up with a plan. If I would have stuck with the plan this would have not taken as long as it did but this would not be the car that it is.

Build is

DP 377 Forged LS3 built by HKE
DP Stage 5 Race Heads
Pro Charger D1
DP 10 Rib drive
DP 1000HP fuel system
DP Methanol
Rossler built 6L80E with 2800 stall
PFADT Rollbar, Carbon fiber drive shaft, Featherlight SA coilovers and motor and transmission mounts.
Dwitts radiator with duel fans and electric water pump
DP custom oil and transmission coolers
and a ton of stuff I forgot but I will lets the pictures talk.

and last and why this car is so much fun to drive

thanks to Taylor and the whole Dallas Performance crew for building my dream car.

Very nice and I expect nothing less from Taylor/DP.

Question: Is the throttle body painted or powdercoated?

which makes me want to ask, how is that rossler 6l80 would like to know a little more about the transmission and what they swap out and how much? You could PM me if you dont want to say it out loud.

Otherwise, nasty build especially through an automatic

Hey Jim, glad to see you post your build thread! The car looks great, one of my personal favorite C6 on the site. Keep up the great work, and let us know how fast this rocket ship goes at the Texas Mile!

This auto build has had some issues but I will say that Carl Rossler stands behind his work and we got to this point together. I told him the goals of the project and he built the tranny for it and its holding up to that now. I think when you pick a vendor you want to make sure when issues come up they handle it and you will get rossler to stand behind what they build. Give them a call they will tell you what they do as I really do not know but I know they have built some running around in your neck of the woods.
