Default Fuel pressure dropping to ~50psi even after KB BAP (630whp LS3)

I posted before about how my fuel pressure was dropping to ~45psi on the stock fuel pump

so this is just a follow up FYI about how the KB BAP did after it was installed. It was installed w/ the Racetronix harness and wired to give 100% power after 3psi, no **** control. The A/F ratio isn't posted since it was just recorded using LogWorks and monitored via my in car wideband, but it was in the mid 11's. The fuel injectors are FAST 65lb/hr @ ~90% duty cycle.

Seems like a fuel system upgrade may be needed before I go any further w/ a cam install.

You have the very same HP levels I'm at and I'm presently upgrading from a BAP to a RSI Stage 2. I have not yet got around to logging the fuel pressure.

Same HP maybe, but I'd love to have your torque

I made ~540wtq across the midrange

I'll have to look at that RSI system... if I'm going to be spending the money and going through the pain in the *** to swap the pump, i'm thinking about going with something big that can handle ~850+ rwhp on E85, since I'm sure that's where the car will end up eventually and I don't want to have to do the job twice.

Where are you referencing the fuel pressure from?

Pulled the schrader valve out of the test port of the fuel rail and attached a sensor

RSI has a system that will handle the E85. It's either a Stage 4 or Stage 5.

That looks like a nice system and I like no tank dropping.. sounds like I use my BAP still too? Can it and the stock components that still remain in the system flow 850whp worth of E85 though?

We hook up the BAP to the Bosch pump and use the first hobbs switch to turn on the pump at stock voltage and then the second switch to turn on the increased voltage. I'm not sure of the E85, but we have had the system with the BAP up to 800 RWHP.

Did you happen to record what fuel pressure it maintained?

One thing I've learned so far is that you can tune the car fine on 45-50psi of fuel pressure, I'm just not sure how safe that is as you get into the higher hp ranges.
