wow....you've been running these numbers with a hydraulic cam and conventional rockers. I can't believe it.

You would pickup big with just the solid roller/jesel, but everything put together should be a big step up.

thanks man. i drive a ton of highway miles and a lot of cross country driving. and i never race it at the track so it only gets beat on from a roll. its got a cog drive tvs 2300, innovators west 8 rid,a100 fuel system...pretty simple. its a high compresion motor on 16-18 pounds of boost.

Yeah, we are really excited about the new Long block from ERL. The old block is coming out in 100% working order with no issues the entire season. We ran it all season last year with no issues as well.

I really believe if you tune the car right and take care of it, that it will last a long time.

This season we have no less than 100 passes on the car at full boost! That is 1800rwhp over and over again and the motor and car loved it! I drove it to a few local events this year as well and reguardless of if it was street driving or racing, the motor was awesome.

We expect the new ERL mill to do all that and provide even MORE POWER!

Hopefully the bigger cam, higher compression, and Solid roller setup will give us at least 200rwhp more. Combining that with over 100lbs less weight and we expect to see some great things happening by the LSX Shootout in September.

We will be at the LS Fest with the car and I expect it to be a great time. Hope to see a bunch of you there!

I cant wait to see the results. Sean has always taken care of us too. Its funny you mentioned the proper tune thing, Its had the same tune in it since the build came together. And i throw it on the rollers every month or so just to check things out and make sure its running right. some times it pays to have your own dyno see you at the shootout!

Atomic, What was the reason you chose the ERL over something like the RHS Tall deck?
Im not giving props for the RHS, just wanting to know the reasoning. We just picked up the tall deck for our car, along with ordering a set of the Mast Mozes heads. I was talking with Steve over at R.E.D and he had a few choice words about the RHS as well.

Do you have a prefrence? Or is it more of a sponsor thing?

Thoughts?.?.
