E-Force Supercharger on 2010 GS
After a lot of begging, pleading, and promises... not to mention a kitchen full of new stainless appliances... my wife, Patti, finally relented and we got an Edelbrock E-Force 599 Supercharger for our 2010 Grand Sport convertible.
Courtesy of my good friends at Corvette Masters and Burke Corvettes, both in Maitland (Orlando), Florida, it's now a done deal! Corvette Masters did the install and Burke Corvettes painted the fuel rail covers to give it just a bit of color under the hood.
I'm very pleased about the performance and Patti is thrilled (thank Goodness!) with the excellent drivability of the car. Honestly, with the hood closed you can barely hear the supercharger (if at all) and normal driving around town is unchanged. Maybe just a bit louder exhaust but what's wrong with that? When you put your foot into it, the power comes on extremely smooth right from idle all the way up to redline.
Stock RWHP was 379. With the Supercharger, RWHP jumped to just over 500 (about 600 at the flywheel). Torque is up to 469 with the blower.
Yes, yes, you can buy less expensive supercharger units that produce more power, especially with custom tuning. My tuning here just uses the included hand-held tuner that comes with the unit. But for those wanting a no-muss, no-fuss unit that runs and looks factory, the E-Force seems to be a good choice.
Like they say, "It's FUN Being Blown!"

Congrats Hutch! Wish I new sooner we were just down Orlando since Tuesday and came home today. Would have loved to see it!
I just installed a ECS blower, Meth kit and ZR1 cam on our 10GS. I have to get out to ECS and get the final dyno tune shortly. Have fun and be safe!!

Sorry I missed seeing you, Rich. I plan to bring the 2010 GS to Carlisle this year since I'm taking the 1996 GS to the NCM Gathering in a few weeks. We'll have to link up there. Can't wait to hear the results of your latest mods. I've given up trying to keep up with you!

In order to get the warranty, it has to be installed by an Edlebrock approved dealer and the Edlebrock tune has to be used. Most tuners will use their own tune to maximize performance since the Edlebrock tune is very conservative. So if your interested in the warranty, you need to specify that the Edlebrock tune be used.

I thought it just had to be an ASE certified shop to qualify for the extended warranty coverage. I'm currently using the standard tune anyway but plan on having a custom dyno tune done soon to hopefully eek out a few more ponies. I'll probably pass on the extended warranty anyway.

Congrats on the upgrade - looks very nice and I'm sure it performs even better than it looks.
Right now, I'm waiting for my Procharger to get shipped to Corvette Masters so I can get my C5 upgraded. Having the Procharger, LG Super Pro long tube headers and a 3:42 diff swap done to it and I can't wait.
BTW - you're pics look like they were taken at Roger's which is where my 03 Coupe came from (my avatar pic is the back of Roger's).

And yeh, that photo of my C6 GS was taken at Roger's Corvette Center in Orlando. Great friends and great cars... an unbeatable combination!

Yeah...as soon as I saw your pics, it came to me to carry the GS theme right on the covers too.
