Default ZR1 Cam Results, Videos, RSD cage

Just had England Green install an RSD cage, headers, and the ZR1 cam in my car. I couldn't be more happy with the results. I've owned cammed cars, and even stealth cams, you know a car has a cam in it. I also know I left 20-40hp on the table with this cam, but I am fine with that. Most importantly, my fiancee doesn't know the car has a cam.

Big thanks to the guys at England Green, I've had a lot of work done there over the last few years, and can't thank them enough. Best guys in Houston to hand your c5/c6 over to for work. Stephen and Gabe took some good pics of the cage, so I will let them upload them when they get a chance.

Sorry for my big *** being in the way!! Had no idea. Cool flames at the end in the 2nd video. This was the 672 pull. My buddy was making the "ohh" sound video taping it.

This video you can figure out yourself. Gabe and myself had already put a few back, so it was funny.

No same boost level as before. Thanks, though! I've got a little clutch issue so not sure when I will be back at the track.

Thanks Troy! Let me know when you get the pics up!

It idles smoother than a stock ls2 or ls3 cam at idle, zero lope or anything

Very nice you are running 10psi right? what about the exhaust? i too have the ZR1 cam to put in and stock Z06 exhaust on my LS2, only 5psi i did 502rwhp with a conservative tune, i was planning on going to the smaller pulley with the new cam maybe 550rwhp when i am done.

I really like the cam. I need to get the car to the track to see the real benefit, not just on the dyno. I'm having some clutch issues that I need to take care of.

I think you will def. see 550rwhp with a pulley change and the zr1 cam.

I'm at work so I can't see the vids but from the dyno graph it looks like it's now a meth dependent tune? How did you convince Stephen to do that? Or is this without the meth?

We still need to go out. Your clutch shouldn't give you any trouble in Mexico.

Yep, it is tuned far in to the meth. Yes, Mexico is not good on the clutch. It was fine before the new mods. 45hp later, and it won't hold and melts to the floor going in to 4th from a 2nd-4th gear pull.

James, I think it will be a good match! Just don't changing head units and such! Maybe we can get Bill out as well Three cars within 50-75hp of each other(unless you have something up your sleeve), would be a nice little little shootout.

Sorry to hear of the clutch issues Mark, I guess you didn't put the headers on either?

Yes, Chris. I put the headers on. I plan on dealing with the clutch in about 5 months.

Now why would you think I have something up my sleeve? I haven't done anything to my car, hell I haven't had any time lately. We need to get the 3 of us together one night and see what happens. I know that when I put the cage in my car it went .5 faster in the 1/4. Sounds kind of odd dosen't it, add 50 pounds and run faster, but it is a true story. Maybe its just my driving improving.

Well, at least we know the only 2 cars that will be running under 11.49 will be caged.

Sorry, Bill.

I'll probably just wait until the cool air starts coming back in around October.

Just got around to watching the first set. I didn't see any flames but I know that my car shoots out a big *** fireball when I smack the rev limiter.

Next time I am over @ EG I have to give Gabe some $hit for what has to be the weakest shotgunning of a beer in history. I would put money my wife could beat him.

I'm stupid. Was the burnout with the line lock or have you not installed that yet?
