I had tr6s in my procharger 550 rwhp ls2 and would occasionly get the charging system error. My toner suggested to switch to tr7s and have never had the error again. I don't know if the tr6s were the problem for sure but I have never had the error again

Default TR6 Best for me????

Running LS2 2005 C6 E-force Charger, ARH, 3"Xpipe to Corsa sport. Hitting 720 Crank....685 WHP. Just making sure everyone recommends TR6 for this application??

Have to go to shop for setup on Dyno. Currently having a problem with backfire and stumble at hard pull in 5th at 3500 rpm. This wasn't happening before it went to bed for the winter....got it out this week and damn....no racing for me!!

Any chance for a quick reply since my appointment is tommorrow and we all know how much fun it is doing plugs on these cars!!

I wouldn’t run TR6s, although over the years I’ve used more of them than anything else. The newer Iridium plugs are so much better at knock resistance and last so much longer than the older plugs that they’re worth every penny.
I’ve run the stock ZR1 Iridium plug (can’t remember the number right now) at 12.5psi on my Heartbeat blown LS3 and I’ve never seen a trace of KR. I’m pretty sure that it’s the equivalent heat range of a NGK 6, although the Iridium plugs tend to have a “wider” heat range than a conventional copper plug.
I find the plugs are much easier to change in my car than on the older Gen 4 Camaro/firebirds and even my 2008 GMC truck. I always use a bit of copper anti-seize compound on the threads and some dielectric grease on the plug and coil boots.

Default Spark Plugs...

Top spark plugs for boost and high compression llsr engines is still the AC Delco 41-104 used on the LS9 and ZR1.
