So i was finally able to pick up the car after "stage 1".
in a few weeks it will go back for a McCleod RXT and a change to the fuel system.
First impressions..the car pulls HARD.. REALLY hard..Off a roll in it's isnt as violent as the nitrous car.. but from a 80 roll in 3rd it just pushed me back in the seat enough to where i short shifted 3-4 at about 6000 rpm because i just wasnt expecting it.. the DP D1sc kit is TOP NOTCH!!
The amazing thing though is the work my tuner Sam did. The car drives like stock. Idle is Very calm and collected with the DP Fi cam, and even cruising at 40 in 6th gear is so calm and collected that you forget the animal lurking under the hood.
with my g6x3 he was able to tune out all surging except 37mph in 6th gear on deceleration ( can you tell i spent WAY TO much time trying to find a place that surged at all??) and even that was mild..
Now there is none at all, besides the blower whine there is no way to tell the car has any other manner besides those of a loud headers bolt on car.
i will get some idles videos soon and post them up, once the fuel changes have been made the car will be retuned to bring the mid range up a little more because it seems the stock fuel setup is at its limit.
Thanks Taylor @ DP..
Thanks Sam ( my tuner/installer).. i cant wait for the clutch and fuel to go in so i can really go unleash the Darkness

Awesome to hear, David!
What are the plans with the fuel system? Sorry if I missed it, just the last I read you were keeping it tame and within your expected power area.

Fuel is purely for saftey.. wont be cranking up the power any.. Since the rear has to come out anyway for the clutch.. might as well do it in one go.

It never ends lol. Kickass setup man. What's the goal with the new fuel system?

Well this was expected.. i planned to do this when the car went in, but i wanted to drive it a few weeks and then send it back.
Not looking to turn the power up.. 765 on the stock motor is fine, but it should pick some up mid range and be alot safer up top.
keep in mind im only running the 4 3/8" pully.. so right now the motor is really the limiting factor, i just dont want to throw more money into it right now.. When the time comes i will most likely just throw some forge pistons and rods in it and step down to the 3.8" pully.

looking at what the eventual next step will be, the itty biddy D1 seems to be what i need. With a built bottom end i should be able to crank it up to 850-875 rwhp, which is the "eventual ballpark" that i wanted to be at.
