Champion motors ttix 3" downpipe upgrade
Anyone looking for more POWER After plenty of R&D we have perfected our fully stainless direct bolt-on 3" downpipes. We are looking at gains anywhere from 50-100rwhp. Dyno result coming shortly...

Sweet. Nice looking piece and it brings the TTix up to a new level. Is there any clearancing needed to fit it? I always heard that a 3" down pipe was "impossible" on the TTix. That there was jus not enough room.

Nice work Rob. I looking forward to seeing the improvement the 3" down pipes make over the 2.5". Fran and I have had several conversations about the 2.5'' pipes being a restriction when pushing the TTix kit to or close to its limits.

Right on Fran. The 3” pipes make the system more efficient, you will be able to move more air. Strictly as an example, let’s say 8lb of boost makes 650 rwhp with the 2.5” pipes. Install the more efficient 3” pipes and that same 8lb of boost may now make 675 rwhp.

yup, and maybe even more than that...
on 1.8L turbo cars the benefits from 2.5" to 3" exhaust are noticeable, especially in the downpipe.
If you look at the 6.0 or 6.2L v8 as a 3.0 or 3.1L 4cylinder, you have even more gas to get out, so you'd see a pretty noticeable increase in power.
I've seen supras with ~3.0L motors run 4" downpipes and exhausts (granted they're probably running significantly higher boost)

Can you elaborate on these? How much for a set for a C6 Z06 TTix kit, and how soon can they be available?
The 2.5" downpipes on the TTix system were the major reason keeping me away from their kit.
