Quality takes time, Pamp. It's only Shawn and Randy taking care of the many Corvettes that go in and out of there....and the occasional Porsche, right Randy?
I didn't really understand that at first, and probably gave them a little more s**t than they deserved. (Public apologies for that, fellas)
If it's been a week, just give 'em a call back. They get really busy. OR shoot 'em an email.

I have cam #2 on that list and it is pretty awesome. Just enough lope to sound bad-*** but not fall on it's face or shake your teeth out at a red light. A nice increase in power before the boost kicks in, and once it does it's a screaming effin' banshee. Really. It's scarier than other Vettes I've been in with more power.
I know guys that are local to me with *other forum vendor* cams. Some make more power, but drive or run like hot garbage. (also tune dependent)
It's also VEEEERY close to a certain "custom grind" that gets a lot of attention here, but uses less lift on a smaller lsa w/ the same int/exh durations. (and for the record, the RR cam came first. They won't say it, but I will.)

Well you know me...... I have the 232/256 114 in my car now. I will be publishing numbers on my LSx 427, ECS 2200 Build very soon. It is Street Tuned, just haven't had a chance to dyno it.

Do you happen to have a sound clip of this cam in your car? what other mods do you have? I'm assuming you have a M6.

Thanx!

I see on you first 2 cams that you have the exhaust duration at 231 & 232 for ls2 and 3 motors. If I am running 8 psi with and eforce and headers do you feel that is sufficient duration? Obviously the ZR1 also has a similar ex. dur. so my thoughts were maybe to go a little longer with it. From my research it seems that 236-238 duration seem to do better up top. Any thoughts?

Hey BJ, my cam is real close to the small RR cam. Little more lift and little more LSA. Give me a shout if you want to "test" things out a bit before you make a cam decision. You're not that far away.

Not at idle, sorry. And no, it's an A6.

As for specs, I can list them if you REALLY want. But it'd be easier to list the things NOT on the car yet.

The basics though; roughly 600 rwhp @ 8psi w/ RR's 224/232 grind, stock shortblock, no meth (yet)
I opted to upgrade the cooling system and brakes first before trying to put more power down. And still debating whether I want to do the fuel system next or not.
The current project is a built A6 install though....trying to get the drivetrain situated looking ahead to sticky tires.

Its not a bad idea to run a little more split with a blower on the car. We can always custom design a cam for your application. The 219/231 cam we have is a very nice cam and we are making 800rwhp in a c5 with that cam so bigger is not always better. We just use the cams to make the motor more efficient. There is always a point of deminishing returns.

I'm on the path to a V-2 with 17/8 headers and want to add a blower cam into that mix. It's a M6 tranny and I want good street manners for daily driving, but I want to maximize the blower & headers and have a nice cam lope. Suggested specs?

In that application I would use our Stinger Cam. 224/232 113. This would give you everything you are looking for. Give me a call and I can get out to you.

How would this cam work if I wanted to keep the stock exhaust manifolds on an LS7. Also anyway to work with heads being milled without going into the shortblock if I was wanting to add an A & A blower setup?
