Yep, sure did. It's a standard part of the kit as-shipped from Edelbrock. Comes with the bit, the drilling fixture, bolt and the pin of course. I doubt they would list something like that in the main body of an advertisement though as it falls into the misc. nuts and bolts category. Worst case scenario I'll sell you mine...didn't need it as I had the foresight to pin my crank back when the cam went in last fall. My Edelbrock crank pinning kit is still NITSBITT...."new in the sealed bag in the toolbox".

To protect my informational sources I won’t comment on that. Unfortunately I could not find out the reason for the changing the programmers.

I guess to me I would feel more comfortable making a large purchase from someone who knows what I am buying and isn't just drop shipping a product. Plus knowing that they have never shipped an E-Force kit and have no way technically to support their E-Force buyers, I would pay a little bit more for the service alone.

As for $60 shipping.... we ship literally a big rig Fed Ex trailer of product per day and couldn't touch that freight charge if we tried. Just makes you wonder as does the "48 to 72 hours" to ship statement knowing these kits take at least 3 to 4 weeks for us to receive and we are less than an hour away from Edelbrock IN California.

Anyway..... just trying to make sure customers are buying from authorized retailers and installers.

It would be interesting for one of you guys that are going to pull the trigger with Ecklers if you would go ahead and pull the trigger and then share your ACTUAL experiences with the purchase and delivery processes.

Steve,

Yeah they COULD buy from A&A but that wouldn't make for a thread with anywhere near the drama I would anticipate from the JC Whitney of Corvettes place!

It would go something like this...I called A&A and actually talked to someone that knows Vettes and works on them, they gave me a great price, they gave me a realistic expectation for when I would get it and finally...they delivered as they said they would...BORING THREAD!....OUTSTANDING PURCHASE EXPERIENCE!

.....sounds a whole lot like the experience I had when I bought my Edelbrock 1591 from A&A!

it looks like they have teh same parts list copy pasted for the 549 and 599 kits. That's a pretty amazing price though...

Eckler's Web site now shows it listed at $7095.99 for the 599hp version. Don't know when they raised the price up.....

I knew something wasn't right! So we still have the BEST PRICE on the E-Force kits on this forum!

The good news is that we are finally past the hump on the E-Force back orders! Edelbrock has been stepping up production getting us between 3 and 4 kits per week now. New orders are now taking less than half the time to complete! So anyone interested, please email or PM me

But only until the next dealer is willing to take 100 less. But then you've got the dealer after that, and after that, and after that, and after that. At the end of this slippery slope, it will be just another great kit thats sold on summit racing or Jegs, for pennies on the dollar. The ONLY company any money, will be the company who makes the product. This is what happens when a company allows anyone with a business license to sell the product.
Hopefully, they will see that they've got a great kit on their hands, and keep it OUT of the internet dealers hands that sell in their undies, and drop ship. It just kills the shops that have brick and mortar buildings, that actually have bills to pay, and techs familys to support (Like you guys have to).

For its purpose, I think its a great kit. Great job on keeping up with it, and getting them to ship these things.

Default LS2 VERSION - E-Force

Hi Scott,
It looks like it will start shipping in August.
Please start checking with your installer in about 3 weeks.
I’m going to be releasing PN’s and hopefully pricing by then.

LS2 Update - Email I received this morning

Glad to see the LS2 and LS7 prospects getting closer to the E-Force SC. This kit is remarkable.

What is the deal with the available warranty? Is that for the blower or the motor or both?
